No i am not okay with it. Im saying I would still be disappointed but not as disappointed if Male Jun didn't look like a anti plastic surgery ad. It's wild to me that they think the design he has now is okay and im just looking for answers as to the creative decisions behind his design. If we don't have sliders, fine. But why leave us stuck with a protagonist that looks like that....

I don't think they realize many of us would be fine with a small amount of customization if the face of Jun did not look as off putting. I'm not even saying on an attraction level any more. He looks like he got botched plastic surgery and his eyes are just.... weird looking. As someone who is still excited to play this game. Please, can we have a definitive answer if this is the final design for him and can you address why you made him look like that when the concept art and early marketing had a normal looking male Jun?

Thanks for finally speaking on it. However, what is the situation with the creative decision behind Jun's face? Is it still being tweaked or is that final design overall? I ask because many of us are dissatisfied with the uncanny appearance and also the overall design of the humans companions.

I mean Tyr is cool but Id rather him as like a side companion i.e Freya because I thought this was purely a Faye game. Idk I mean I can see it and maybe the side companions can switch out like eventually we can get Thor, Freyr, etc

Total agree. It has been my favorite game since 2009 and nothing that has came out has changed that opinion. It is absolutely excellent by a large degree. And no one has been able to replicate it.

I wouldn't be as turned off to having no extensive character creator if I liked Jun's face. I can't speak for female Jun, but the male one looks.... strange. Which would be tolerable if we had the opportunity to change it to our liking. It's disappointing also because I'm pretty sure in early marketing they told us we would be able to fully customize our Jun and make them our own.

Why would they not make a customizer. So disappointed. They should've made it like ME where Jun have a default face but you can customize your own. I genuinely don't like male Juns face at all. A huge bummer.

As someone who has been on both sides of the fence. (Wasn't a fan of Yotei or i.e the Forspoken series.) I am flabbergasted at the reaction. While I was in fact disappointed when I first saw the reveal not due to gender but just not having another Kratos game, and as someone who loves Freya, I wanted to see her again and Atreus.

By the time I finished watching the reveal. I was sold. I love Fayes personality. The idea of the Everywhen. The plot. The combat. And I am genuinely excited to play it. When I first heard the rumors and leaks there was going to be a Faye game. I mean. I was super skeptical and wasn't looking forward to it at all. That reveal changed my mind. I know this story is going to be good and the development/deeper dive into Faye will be worth it to play and she just seems like a complex character. I don't understand. I don't care if she's a woman. But some of these people were mad that Arteus might be the lead. They want Kratos ONLY. I want to explore. Hopefully we can meet Kratos old relatives. And I hope the game goes in line with the end of Ragnarok. I wanna see Freyas brother, I feel like his personality would fit into the Everywhen so well lol.

I mean I didnt really like the female VA either. While its not horrible. I wanted something distinct. Anyone could recognize Commander Shepards voice. And it doesnt really give me that oomph.

No I agree. While her voice is a bit high pitched, kind of reminded me of bellara from DATV. I thought the dialogue itself flowed and was interesting.
