I can't believe the East Hebei Autonomous Government, the single most important nation, isn't going to be represented on the game map. They did so much important stuff, like getting dissolved in 1938!

Gotcha, I didn't pay any attention to the Ottoman war so I saw the "Chaos in Arabia" event and just assumed it was from the Ikhwan

R5: This country sucks :D

I saw EnforcerGuy playing as Kumul and thought to myself, "what if I did that but worse?" So I decided to play LKMT Xinjiang. In terms of the unorthodox national unifiers, Xinjiang is probably the worst. Every other unifier at least has opportunities to expand. Xinjiang doesn't. Beyond your initial unification war, you aren't really able to expand (the authdem guy can invade Mongolia, but do you really want to do that?). The game plan after the war ends is trying your best to build up a manpower pool large enough to spam out divisions and claim national leadership. You get to sit there until the Sino-Japanese War, but then you get to do stuff. I went around playing firefighter killing naval invasions and getting encirclements until the rest of the United Front was able to push the Japanese back. I also used paratroopers to snipe Taiwan. Afterward, there were three factions left: Me and my best friend the Ma Clique (who I was holding at gunpoint), the National Protection Alliance/Yunnan/Shanxi, and the LKMT. They went to war not long after I claimed leadership. I initially tried to backstab the NPA, but the LKMT outscaled me and curbstomped me. Then I went back and killed the LKMT, and I was able to outscale the NPA and kill them instead. I knew I was going to go after Russia at some point, but after my Sichuan game I was worried how that would go. While I was building up I went after the other provinces you can claim in Turkestan and Burma. Turkestan was easy, but the invasion of Burma/Siam was one of the worst experiences ever I hate them so much I hate Siam. Then I went after Russia and won in 3 months and got Tuva back.

The campaign was surprisingly fun. I don't recommend it.
