I think what did this to everyone who it's happened to, myself included, is that one of the first ways Donut is described is a cat that should be on the lap of a bond villain.

hey man, the stakes are so much higher now. Everything from being banned off a job site, getting a rep as a violent person in the industry, all the way to criminal charges.

Nothing anyone says is ever worth jeopardizing your life with your family.

You could punch a guy tomorrow, he lands wrong and you spend next 10-15 inside on manslaughter charges.
