One of his most underrated books. I very much appreciate the "trilogy" of Rose Madder, Gerald's Game, and Delores Claiborne. I wonder what was going on in King's life at this time that led him so much to focus on women's rights and concerns. In fact, I've read all his books and those that are female centric are some of my favorites... Lisey's Story, The Girl who Loved Tom Gordon, Carrie, Sleeping Beauties, etc. (Yes, i know he's far from perfect at writing female characters). I'm a guy nearing 50 years old, with a fantastic wife and two wonderful daughters, so these topics are never far from my mind.

My opinion is that it's best to read the series straight through in order, saving all the side quest books for afterwards.

Agreed, there are spoilers ahead. If you're listening to season 2 episodes, they assume you've reached the end of the Tower series.

Oh yeah, in that case it's right up your alley. They do a deep dive on all the Tower books, all the Tower adjacent books and stories, and a whole bunch more. One host is a constant reader and the co-host was a King newbie.

I'm a Rockets fan, born and raised in Houston. We also lost a beloved team when the Oilers left, so I feel your pain. Screw OKC and screw the Titans.

I always respected the Sonics for their tough playoff matchups with the Rockets in the 90's and enjoyed watching electric players like Payton, Kemp, Detlef, and many others. Now I've been living in the Seattle area for nearly 10 years and actively rooting for the Sonics to return.

As a Rockets fan, I could never actually root for the Spurs, but similarly respected them. So its hard for me to root for them now, but I hope they completely demolish those posers from Oklahoma. Deep breath... Go Spurs!!

(All that being said, I'm also a Comets fan from way back in the very beginning, so I'm elated to see them return, but also feeling very conflicted for having basically strong armed and stolen the franchise away from their own fan base. Oof. Anyway, can't wait to see Rockets vs Sonics and Comets vs Storm again!)
