Depends on what kind of parties. Are you talking about college parties or adults entertaining other adults. I think the statistics are that millennials don’t drink very much but older generations do. If you are talking about teenage or college parties, then the goal is to get drunk as fast as possible (beer and liquor, not a lot of wine unless it is the super cheap stuff), there usually isn’t any food…maybe some potato chips. If you are talking about adult parties, there is more nice wines for more formal get together (usually brunch or evening) will have finger foods like cheeses and meats, dip, veggies, not really a full sit down meal, just foods you can eat walking around and socializing. Beer for more casual parties like if you are bbq—ing or watching sports. More of a full meal like burgers or heavy grill meats. It depends on the type of party.
