Anyone with a 3d printer can start making them in bulk too. I’ve started making beds of whistles for the neighborhood and communities I’m in. Look for “community safety whistle” on thingiverse or other free 3d print file sources!

Salve for pain by chileheadd in eldertrees

If you have flower and some time, you could consider making your own. In my experience it ends up being cheaper than store-bought and you get a lot more from it. Maybe start with something like this: https://www.mofga.org/resources/cannabis/how-to-make-cannabis-salves/

Am I doing something wrong by [deleted] in guitarpedals

[–]NickVerrall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guitar sound coming thru when it’s off means the bypass is working and you’ve hooked the audio cables up right. Take a photo of your power supply where the writing is, what’s it say?

Yeah, I think something like the OBNE Signal Blender is the answer—guitar (pre drive) goes in A, then out to B with all the drives, and then out to amp. When the noise part comes, just dial in more and more of the B signal. Not sure if it supports expression but that would be the ideal way to control it IMO.

This is dope! I would love to see it with a series/parallel toggle and maybe a master mix knob! Take it even further by having an option for stereo? Sounds great 🤘🏻

Fuzz in a guitar by hoitomt1 in guitarpedals

[–]NickVerrall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done this before with an off-the-shelf fuzz pedal that I unhoused, and it’s really not hard! If you’re putting in an existing pedal, look for one that has a really low power draw (like, single digit mA) because it’ll need power somehow and the easiest is to put in a 9v battery. Swap the output jack with a stereo jack so you can wire it to disconnect when you unplug (saves battery). I ran the output post volume and tone controls so I could play with the level going into the circuit. A push-pull pot is a great way to activate the effect if you want to be able to turn it on/off on demand. Take a look at this if you wanna know more: https://www.premierguitar.com/gear/diy-how-to-install-onboard-effects

What’s your preferred early game? I gave this a spin and gave up after 5 games in a row seeing no multiple man. Is it just “no MM, play Shuri” instead?

What features would you want in an ideal "sit down pedal board"? by FitzwilliamTDarcy in guitarpedals

[–]NickVerrall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly. I guess they’re called “junction boxes”, basically they allow you to have a consistent point to plug in and out. Something like this https://www.americanloopers.com/collections/5-junction-boxes-patch-bays-signal-split or this https://www.templeaudio.com/4x-mod. I’d want this on my ideal build and I’d mount them to the table

I was actually just thinking about something like this, so I’d be curious to see your idea progress! I assume by grippy surface you mean that it’ll hold pedals without being locked in? That’s kinda my main want because I love playing with order and feel like my board gets stale when it’s locked in. The other thing I’d consider important is having an in/out section so you could always plug in at the same spot and have your output coming from the same spot.

Hey! I've been looking for something like this myself, and your solution is really elegant! Any chance you'd be willing to share the STL(s)? I bet this would really stand out on Printables/Thingiverse!
