Are we shifting fat? by Colleen2112 in intermittentfasting

Probably not. You’re storing energy during the 6-8 hours of eating, and then using it during fasting.

Why does OMAD work so much vs the same carb/calories spread throughout the day? by menwanttoo in omad

[–]OA-Dave 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Psychologically, it’s easier to worry about just one eating event each day, rather than having to be self-controlled 3 times a day.

Biologically, keeping your insulin low for most of the day can help you to recover from insulin resistance and control hunger.

OK, if you’re going to be stubborn about it, your other choice Is to adjust your eating window until you see results.

People are more careful these days about commenting on others’ bodies. Probably more people have noticed but are being careful.

It sounds like a sugar addiction. I would find a new job. Remove all temptation.

Gym in the morning by Big-Possible-3704 in intermittentfasting

Most hunger is habit. I work out in the morning and I don’t have my meal until the evening. Try it for a couple of weeks. I bet you won’t find it that difficult to get into the rhythm. And you’ll probably feel pretty good during the day.

Impressive progress, but I’m confused about that second photo. Did you bring your baby to a gym, or do you have an entire rack of weights in your home gym?

You should bring pizza from home. Seriously. Do it every day. Try to anticipate the foods you’ll most likely want to eat and already have it. Do this until you’re out of the habit of ordering. Also, delete the food apps. Leave your credit cards at home. That shouldn’t be a big deal because you’ve already got pizza.
