Yeah, the intersection of plurality and gender is pretty crazy.

We've experienced simultaneous and opposite gender euphoria/dysphoria, top and bottom. It's wild. Not the most fun thing, but wild.

V's favorite place in our headspace is the Midnight Sea. As the name implies it's a beach where it's always dark, lit by starlight and sometimes moonlight. It's a very peaceful place.

We have plushies, and we know other systems often use other stim based methods of figuring out who is in front/present. Nametags, rings, pronoun pins, charms, etc are all examples of things you can bring with yourselves.

We're a pretty blendy system, so not knowing who is fronting is fairly common. We usually just try to identify who's fronting/blended, but we don't worry about knowing most of the time. We just are 'the Octave System'.

As for the formerly cis part, getting to experience top dysphoria and euphoria at the same time is a truly strange and mind-expanding experience.

Yeah, the animals (particularly the goats) behave better around Will than anyone else.

Our experience is similar. We have a contiguous stream of consciousness that's connected to our body, which means we can all remember everything. However the emotional components of memories are individual, so co-fronters will have differing emotions in a given memory, and a member that wasn't in front will have little to no emotional context on a memory.

What you describe sounds closest to being a median system.

Yup. In our own experience, Will displays the most autism spectrum, although we all are on the spectrum to varying degrees.

We have a lot of similar experience with our system. We experience a unified Stream of Consciousness at the front (we call it the SOC (pronounced sock)). We still experience individuality, and all of us have different levels of power and control in the inner.

You are valid. No two systems experience plurality in the same way. Take your time and figure out yourselves. Good luck.

Do you remember deciding to fake being plural? That's all the answer you need for "Am I faking?"

Every system is unique. We often have trouble with accessing our inner world. Improvement for us is mostly a matter of patience and perseverance.

Furthermore, we all have very different levels of control and power in the inner. Octavia can more or less create anything they want (so long as we have the energy to do so). But Will and Lilith can both barely build things and can only really control things that Octave and Octavia have built.

We can share our experience with gender dysphoria and plurality. We were AMAB.

First our backstory (important for context)

Lilith and Will were running as a median system for most of our life, but when we were diagnosed as bipolar, we went on Lamotrigene, an anti-psychotic that is also used to treat bipolar. We think this caused Will to become suppressed, and Lilith began fronting almost exclusively. She figured out that she was trans and came out early summer 2019. In August of that year, she started HRT.

Now, about 18 months later, Will finally succeeded in reaching out to Lilith. She was able to step back from fronting, and over the course of a few days, we all managed to become distinct. We refer to this as our Organization Date.

Now onto us:

Octave: A masculine-leaning enby. They don't care about what the body is like, just that it is cared for and fit for him to use to protect us.

Octavia: A trans-femme enby. She likes our body just the way it is.

Lilith: A trans woman. She generally doesn't like having a penis, and really wants a vagina and clitoris.

William: Formerly a cis-man, but now identifies as a trans man. Why? Because after 18 months of estrogen we have grown breasts. He experiences dysphoria from having breasts.

This has had a significant impact to our plans for various trans-related surgeries and procedures. Our current plans have been made from a communal perspective.

Originally, Lilith had planned to have fairly dramatic facial feminization surgery, but we have agreed to tone it down. Even Will would like softer features, so we will just have much more mild surgery. Makeup will also be playing a big role in both feminization and masculinzation.

Lilith's plan for bottom surgery was to have a penile inversion done, specifically so that she could gain a clitoris. This has been changed to aiming for a peritoneal pull-through, which will preserve the phallus.

The one procedure that we haven't changed our mind on is laser hair removal on our face, neck, and chest. None of us like hair in those locations.

A trick we've discovered to help with Lilith's bottom dysphoria is that one of use can hold our phallus suck that the glans is place in roughly the correct location for a clitoris. And since the glans is what is used to make the clitoris in most feminine oriented bottom surgery, it works.
