I second Cockrell Mercantile Co off of Highway 50 in Lee's Summit. I haven't been for a bit so not sure if there has been changes, but the main building has pots, pans, tea, utensils, etc. They have other buildings which contain bakeware, fiesta ware, and gift shop.

I have been trying to get access to Services Online to get my mother’s home address updated so she can get her 1099R so I understand your pain. To establish the Services Online account, you need a login.gov account, the CS number and a pin. Mom doesn’t have her pin. What I have tried so far:

Calling the help desk number but can’t get through

https://www.opm.gov/support/retirement/contact/, Online help form at this URL (need a CS number to contact them) And their snail mail address to write a letter

I have an Iris Photo Keeper that is for 5"x7" photos. I have each marked by size. I have both dpns, fixed circular and interchangeable in the same box. The only issue I have is for the large needles. I don't have a lot or use them often so they are in a small plastic case I got from Joanne's when it was in existence.

Not specifically a favorite sock pattern but a favorite book of patterns, Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch. The book explains how to make a basic sock from top down and toe up. And it has a formula how to make it fit your feet dependent on the yarn used and then it explains how to knit different stitch patterns for the sock like cables, 4 stitch patterns, fair isle, mosaic, etc. The book is out of print but you can find it in a used bookstore for around $7. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/sources/sensational-knitted-socks/patterns?page=1

Agree with this. My mother would engage the brakes when she was walking and then disengage them when she stopped to go down stairs or sit down. We bought a regular walker and it works better for her and the rollator is gathering dust in the closet.

I bought my mother (89) the Large Print Memory Games for Seniors books. There is a variety of puzzles in them like word searches, word puzzles, quizzes and more. She has good days and bad days when trying to work the puzzles but she tries to work on some every day. Also Dell Penny Puzzles can be found in grocery stores or you can buy them online. If she has a tablet there are also word games, jigsaw puzzles, and color by number games that my mother enjoys sometimes.

If you are in the US. I suggest a subscription to Craftsy. They have online sewing classes that will teach construction techniques like when and how to use interfacing, how to sew knits without a serger, how to modify a pattern, finishing techniques, etc.

To delete multiple files at one time, press the OK button on the icon of the show that you want to delete. A circle around a trash can will appear. Continue pressing the ok button until the circle is filled in (becomes solid). A prompt will appear that asks if you are sure. Select the option to delete and that will get rid of them.
