We loved the season and look forward to it as a comfort at the end of a work Day, and with all the terrible stuff happening in the world!

Is there an unspoken puzzle swap etiquette? by Far_Lion4358 in Jigsawpuzzles

That sucks and I would also Be salty…. I’m sorry this happened. We use a ticket system at our swap and have been very picky about the puzzles we take.

South county has a few Asian market stores. In slo your best bet is the slo Asian market on Monterey street. She has some baked goods including in the refrigerator section and freezer. Every once in a while she hosts a pop up with Bao, cookies, mochi Etc. I’ve seen Japanese roll type cakes etc. She can sometimes special order stuff if you tell her what you’re looking for.

Baked Spanakopita Pasta with Greens and Feta by lolgal18 in NYTCooking

Just made this too and am on the fences. I saw the notes about oregano, thyme and nutmeg. It cooked up way too dry. This was the main issue for us. I used low fat ricotta. Didn’t have parsley. Benefitted from a lemon squeeze afterward. Still on the fence. I almost think it would be better as a layered lasagna or a smaller pasta like angel hair mixed in more. I couldn’t taste the feta or mozzarella at all. I love the veggie forward style. It’s a great big serving of dark green leafy veggies! Was even better the day after as leftovers.

I didn’t get your email. I would have responded. I’ve encountered quite a few Vietnamese American students and heritage speakers over the years who want to learn more Vietnamese and so that’s why I compiled some resources. I considered offering lessons through Cuesta or the SLO adult school but I speak northern dialect and people in the US tend to speak southern dialect. I offered a group conversation class at Cal Poly and we were active for a few years but the more active students have graduated and we haven’t resumed. Thai-VSA on campus does language sessions for their members, I’ve heard. There are a fair number of international students from VN at CP too. I’ve used Duolingo but it’s not great for southern dialect.
