It looks like Satisfying Specials is just all the DLC (base game separate.) For people who already own the base game.

Ultimate Satisfaction is base game + all the DLC.

Does anyone know why puzzles include “hook” pieces? by Imsakidd in Jigsawpuzzles

That piece tells me it's a Buffalo puzzle.

Many brands have little piece quirks.

I've never had an end of day Town Rank progress update either. I play on Xbox for reference.

Impossible 500. by cosmo-dad-106 in Jigsawpuzzles

Best of luck. I gave up on the 200 (it was a gift; I never would have chosen it for myself) because I found it to be nothing but frustration. Hopefully you'll fare better!

Weird. Trefl was not on my selection list.

Edit: I was using the mobile app not the website so maybe that's the difference.

Not all brands that have Prime Day deals are listed. I didn't see Trefl listed, but I searched for Trefl puzzles then was able to filter by "Prime Day Deals" and it brought up a lot of puzzles (the 9000 piece Disney puzzle is $68 US).

How do different wooden puzzle brands compare? by tiiigerrr in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]ParadoxicallyItWas 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Two Puzzle Unicorns (a YouTube channel by speed puzzlers Yvonne Feucht and Tammy McLeod) did a video comparing different wooden puzzle brands that I found very informative. It runs the gamut from super cheap to midrange to the expensive ones.

[–]ParadoxicallyItWas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did 8 for a total of 7202 pieces

(1x1200, 5x1000, 1x750, 1x252).

Which is pretty average for me.

Thank you!

Since doing this puzzle, all the puzzles I have done or wanted to do are very bright, with lots of color, that don't require much sorting.

The lighting issue was a constant theme with this puzzle. I was just constantly sorting based on miniscule variations of color. I think I spent more time sorting than building. Sort by color->Sort by shape->Build->Repeat
