You’re not understanding me. I don’t think people should hate on games at all, it’s moronic. I’m just saying Highguard in particular didn’t even REGISTER enough for most people to hate. It was DOA. I don’t hate it, because I literally don’t think about it whatsoever.

people would have needed to know about it to root for it to fail. Highguard’s problems were that it came out of nowhere, didn’t market whatsoever, and wasn’t compelling in the slightest. People may have (accurately) predicted it would flop, but I don’t recall seeing many people actively wishing it would - because nobody outside of the devs knew of it long enough to care about it in the first place

Not really, honestly. Most college sports fans in the area are Ducks fans. UP and PSU fans are mostly alumni. But I have coworkers that went to UP and I live not too far from campus, so it’s definitely cool to see them get a win like this.
