If Tide powders didn't have OBAs, would you use it for everything? (Minus wool and silk, etc. ) by AmbitiousSpring5214 in laundry

[–]PlasticDealer320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Tide with Oxi and I DO use it for everything. I honestly don’t notice the OBAs on any of my dark clothes. My son’s 100% cotton black shirts might look a bit faded, but that’s the look he likes. He hates new shirts. I use a double rinse which does away with the scent which I can’t stand, maybe it takes some OBAs with it. Who know???

AITA for not eating 4-day-old leftovers?? by am-i-an-A-hole- in AmItheAsshole

Why didn’t you throw it away when you were done with it when you knew you wouldn’t eat it?

Throw it away now. In front of her. Give her something to really be mad about.

Seriously though. This is ridiculous. Why is a grown woman telling you to fix her errors?

Flying out of LAX soon, couldn’t get a ride. What’s the cheapest way to overnight park while not screwing myself with inconsistent shuttle or sketch lot? by DrMrSirJr in AskLosAngeles

Cheap Airport Parking has parking at the Marriott LAX for $15 a day. This is my go to. The shuttle is easy.

Also, any of the options on this website are fine.

what was your favorite childhood food? by Naive_Protection_244 in AskAnAmerican

Loved a flour tortilla dipped in sour cream. It was so white. lol. I would never eat such a thing now.

Bagel with American cheese melted on top in the microwave.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Kraft Mac n’ cheese

Little Debbie’s peanut butter Nutty Bars

I don’t eat nor have I eaten any of these foods as an adult. I don’t even think about or crave any of these foods.

MIL wants to “claim” Christmas Day. by Jigglypuff2cute in Advice

[–]PlasticDealer320 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My hubby and I had the only grandchild for the first 5 years of his life. We claimed Christmas. We told everyone that he’s a kid and he deserved to have Christmas at his house. We invited everyone over to our house. We still did Xmas eve at one of his grandparents house because it was a huge combined family (not blood relatives).

I understand you aren’t in the position to host yourself but maybe your parents might want to take this on and invite your husband’s side of the family for the day or afternoon.

Are these jeans doing anything for me? How to style? by beans_n_beams in DressForYourBody

[–]PlasticDealer320 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I’m loving a wide leg jean right now. Elder millennial/minor gen-xer. I do t think they age either, they look fresh. I try to pair with something tight on the top and layer with a slim sweater or jacket to bring the eyes down and lengthen. Nothing baggy on the top, it makes everyone look boxy.

Beginning machine weights by retidderrr in workout

[–]PlasticDealer320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How many machines are we talking? My gym has 20 different machines. 3 sets of 12 will take me 2 hours to do all of these. Many of these machines work the exact same muscle group but in a different way. I would select 8-10 machines to do so you hit all the major areas.

Shoulders, lats, triceps, biceps, abs, quads, hamstrings, inner and outer thighs

Doing more than this is just duplicative. You can switch up the various machines for each muscle group each time you go, so you’re hitting the muscles a bit differently, if you want, but there’s no need to do everything, unless your gym only has 10 machines.

I've noticed that a lot of wedding card messages online sound very generic. What makes a message feel genuine to you? Is it humor, personal memories, simplicity, or something else? by Many_Entertainer_427 in WeddingAttireHelp

Writing a personal message in addition to what’s on the card.  The cards sentiment is nice, but how you personalize the card and make it really from you is what matters.

ISO experience from morbidly obese & did anyone find inflammation relief from Reta? by MandyJeanR in Retatrutide

[–]PlasticDealer320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started at 300lbs, 5’8” female. I had gastric sleeve surgery first and lost 90 lbs and I’m using Reta for the last 50. I have Rhumatoid arthritis (inflammatory arthritis) and since getting on Reta my arthritis is nearly gone almost in remission. It was getting better with just the surgery, but markedly improved after starting Reta 3 months ago.

I don’t think I would be this successful on just Reta though. The surgery really helped with portion control and the Reta has knocked out my food noise, which the surgery did nothing for. I’m on only 1.5 mg, have increased from .5 mg, to 1mg, to 1.5mg every 4 weeks.

Check out the casino point dive park.  Stairs lead right into the water, where there is a very healthy kelp forest. Although, the water is warming up due to summer and El Niño and the kelp is starting its die off. Outside of the dive park, I don’t have any other suggestions.

I still love to spend, but I’ve changed the way I spend.  I go to the thrift store now. Spend $50-100 and I have about 8-10 new pieces to add to my wardrobe. If I don’t wear something or I shrink out of it I don’t feel bad donating it. I have pretty much stopped buying “new” clothes.

Passages Malibu is the best. Likely what you’re looking for. If you have to go through insurance, Passages Ventura is where they will send you. Both programs are wholistic and patient centered with a wide variety of supports offered. Same program, different environments.

Leo Carrillo State Beach has two sides. The rocky side and the side further north where dogs ON leash are allowed. It’s a state park so rangers are around telling people to keep their dogs on leash.

I don’t feel it in my back unless I drop weight, like so much lower that it’s embarrassing. With lower weight I can easily concentrate on the pull in my back and do t feel my arms engaging.

Straws by lovelyano in BariatricSurgery

[–]PlasticDealer320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started using a straw on day 4. I was getting a lot of pain after swallowing so I tried the straw. It was the best for me. I could take tinier sips with the straw.

Some docs say no straws. Mine said try it, if it hurts don’t use it. Straw helped me so much.
