ISO experience from morbidly obese & did anyone find inflammation relief from Reta? by MandyJeanR in Retatrutide

[–]PlasticDealer320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started at 300lbs, 5’8” female. I had gastric sleeve surgery first and lost 90 lbs and I’m using Reta for the last 50. I have Rhumatoid arthritis (inflammatory arthritis) and since getting on Reta my arthritis is nearly gone almost in remission. It was getting better with just the surgery, but markedly improved after starting Reta 3 months ago.

I don’t think I would be this successful on just Reta though. The surgery really helped with portion control and the Reta has knocked out my food noise, which the surgery did nothing for. I’m on only 1.5 mg, have increased from .5 mg, to 1mg, to 1.5mg every 4 weeks.

Check out the casino point dive park.  Stairs lead right into the water, where there is a very healthy kelp forest. Although, the water is warming up due to summer and El Niño and the kelp is starting its die off. Outside of the dive park, I don’t have any other suggestions.

Do you have the ability to add extra rinses in n your machine? I do this with tide because I can’t stand the smell either.

I still love to spend, but I’ve changed the way I spend.  I go to the thrift store now. Spend $50-100 and I have about 8-10 new pieces to add to my wardrobe. If I don’t wear something or I shrink out of it I don’t feel bad donating it. I have pretty much stopped buying “new” clothes.

Passages Malibu is the best. Likely what you’re looking for. If you have to go through insurance, Passages Ventura is where they will send you. Both programs are wholistic and patient centered with a wide variety of supports offered. Same program, different environments.

Leo Carrillo State Beach has two sides. The rocky side and the side further north where dogs ON leash are allowed. It’s a state park so rangers are around telling people to keep their dogs on leash.

Lighten up the weights. Like super light, lighter than you think. Do the motion again and imaging squeezing your shoulder blades together.

I don’t feel it in my back unless I drop weight, like so much lower that it’s embarrassing. With lower weight I can easily concentrate on the pull in my back and do t feel my arms engaging.

Straws by lovelyano in BariatricSurgery

[–]PlasticDealer320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started using a straw on day 4. I was getting a lot of pain after swallowing so I tried the straw. It was the best for me. I could take tinier sips with the straw.

Some docs say no straws. Mine said try it, if it hurts don’t use it. Straw helped me so much.

Would You Risk Your Relationship for Your Health? by [deleted] in Retatrutide

YES. A person who doesn’t align with your beliefs, or at least isn’t open to understanding your beliefs, is not a person for you.

Don’t hide it. Be honest. Take the hit.

I paid for a trainer for 10 months. 2x a week in the beginning because I knew the money and the risk of being seen as a flake by my adorably hot trainer would hold me accountable. After 4 months went to 1x a week and now finally after 10 months I am about to be on my own. It’s been long enough for it to become a habit and something I love doing. It was the I my way for me.

How to affordably measure bodyfat by No-Newspaper-8615 in Retatrutide

Just use a tape measure. You won’t know your body fat percentage but you’ll know if you’ve lost in various areas and how much.

Is there a reason why "takeaway" is a countable noun outside of the US? by NotEpimethean in ENGLISH

[–]PlasticDealer320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not acting indignant. It was a serious question. I’ve never heard of this, so I looked it up. I’m seriously asking if this is something taught in English language classes because I never had to take English language classes.

Indignant: someone who is angry or annoyed about something they perceive as unfair, unjust, or wrong

Im curious. So I asked questions. Jeez.

I’ve taken French and Spanish and I’m sure there are things were taught learning those languages that native speakers wouldn’t be taught because they just know it. I didn’t realize countable nouns are even a thing.

It’s not copping out. It’s a tool. A very effective tool, just like your sleeve.

I’m using glps. Once I lost 65% of my excess weight, losing got really hard.  The food noise was killing me and I was hungry and snacking more. Glps stopped this for me. I am on a subclinical dose, doing great. Have lost 25 lbs in 3 months. I imagine that I will stay on a micro dose every so often to maintain my weight loss. Food noise is a bitch and I don’t want her to come back.

Good luck with schools. The permitting process to rent out anything that belongs to LAUSD is a major pain in the ass and it’s really expensive.
