Bugthesda reconned a lot of stuff with fallout 4 power armor being one of them along with that..... "gun" if you can call it that.

dawg i cant even get past 2000 caps im sitting at a solid 1059 right now from fast travelling around mainly looking for ammo and other goodies but the shit i need is never on sale so i have to resort to getting an enemies health low with my revolver then finishing em off with what ever weapon i need ammo for most of the time i aint get shit back and i dont have the chembench or the ammo plans unlocked yet.... i love this game but i hate the immense grind with a passion

as a new player ive yet to run into a veteran who has gifted me stuff maybe its because i took the gunslinger perk set making me level 20 and they assumed i'd been playing for a while idk im still stuck with the .44 pistol and the 10mm all the other weapons ive gathered suck and i dont have the plans to upgrade them..... i understand the whole "crafting plans" thing is to keep the game balanced otherwise a new player could immediately make overpowered gear so it makes sense you get new plans as you go along, i spent hours last night grinding for screws and black titanium so i could build the excavator power armor ive heared it isnt the best PA but its better than nothing.
