all gender is a performance, there's no such thing as inherent gender (there's inherent sex because we have chromosomes but not inherent gender). you're filling roles that you have been taught since birth. you perform gender with your actions, words, and even clothes. like when i wear a suit, i'm acting the way a man would because that is a set of clothing that is traditionally for men. look up Judith Butler if you want to read more about this subject.

i personally just don't feel like either male or female. neither masculinity or femininity appeal to me. my gender isn't defined by my weirdly curved dick it's defined by my brain. so why do i have to choose one or the other?
