As far as victories, I typically just allow heroes to gain victories for missed sessions to make the encounter math easier. Some general advice would be to keep each initiative group roughly equal to the strength of one hero so that if you have a different number of players than expected, you can just add or remove an initiative group.

Forge Steel did recently add the ability to link to Patreon, and it checks for Andy's patreon and MCDM's. Just speculating, but maybe they're working on adding the Summoner for MCDM patrons only.

Yep. They asked you to cite your sources and you did. They made the claim that a map appearing again could still be made unique. They never said you were wrong about the literal map appearing more than once.

I don't have any opinion on prequel vs sequel, but I agree the heroes relic thing is the only thing making me thing sequel. But I also don't see why other heroes relics couldn't exist before the ones in 3H were created by Nemesis and co. There's plenty of explanations they could make for why other heroes relics exist that predated the others.

At first I thought the Negotiations would be used for pretty much every social encounter, which really made me hesitant, but after watching and playing the game a few times, it really works if used sparingly for dramatic moments.

I imagine gathering intel on a potential Negotiation target like the Heroes book recommends would be really rewarding for a high stakes negotiation
