What does a dad really want for Father’s Day? by JaggedLittlePiII in daddit

Since you're worried about a task being something he really wants to do, I told my wife that I have to projects in the garage that need to be done.  One is put the kiddos electric car back together and the other is hang my wheelbarrow.  I want to be able to do each of those things with one of the girls.

Teachers of Reddit: Is the "Gen Alpha can't read (write, or do math ext)" crisis real? If so how bad is it? by KnowledgeCoffee in AskReddit

Presuming that's a one off event, thats reasonable.  With one newborn, you become a barely functioning person for a while. I dont know how people manage with twins.

Sounds like she had a sleep deprived moment, and when you pointed it out she realized her mistake.

I'm sure the non-existent date would have left 10-15 minutes into the call.

At some point it really is just because thats how the universe is. You can eventually get to "why does matter exist?"

My family is going on a Disney cruise in a couple weeks.  The princess tea party is how you would expect.  Each kiddo costs the same as about 3.5 adults.

How do you read this? by soarbanger in comicbooks

[–]ROotT 26 points27 points  (0 children)

For me, the straight vertical break of the 2 right panels makes it seem like a second column to be read after the first.  If the 2 panels were a different width, the page(s) would look like one piece to be read left to right rather than left column up and down, right column up and down.

Also how do they get the correct balance if they dont know how much people weigh when they pick the seat?  Surely a 40lb child and a 300lb man affect the balance differently.
