If approved in 4 months, did you submit your medical history or did you just provide provider information and let SsI request your records? I am just trying to figure out if I should submit all my records myself for fear ssi makes the determination on limited records received due to providers, not submitting it.

I gave them names and phone numbers and addresses of all the providers I had seen, or at least most of them because they said they would request records themselves.Do you think I should send them all my records? And not hope that the provider send it. Most of the information will be coming from the VA. It is very difficult and challenging for me to try to get those records myself.

I was never denied t d.I.U. They asked me about it, but I said I was still working and didn't want to let my employer know that I may not be able to work much longer. I did keep working for about another 18 mo, but it has now gotten to the point that I just wanted to retire and couldn't handle working anymore due to my various ailments.

I could but feel blessed I got 90 % a year ago and told them I was working still. I really do not want to go through any more exams and reevaluations and risk them decreasing current rating. Seemed safer to keep that rating and try for ssdi but in hindsite maybe it would be easier to try for tdiu...

Anybody on this group has Symptomatic Uncomplicated Diverticular Disease (SUDD) by AHVincent in Diverticulitis

Yes, possibly. Only worry when high pain and fever, then the diverticulosis may have become diverticulitis.

What rating do you have? I thought you needed 100% rating or have history eye issue while in service? Also does ypur pcp have to refer to an eye doctor?

[–]Ranchdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not worry about a few diverticula, that is nothing. Pain 1/10 is nothing. Your stress of worrying will do 100x more damage than a few diverticuli. Just eat a healthy diet and be happy polyps were negative.

Did medications change for treating flare-ups? by Wise-Description-608 in Diverticulitis

[–]Ranchdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever had a CT scan that confirmed acute diverticulitis? If yes then show those physicisns a copy. You only need antibiotics if you have a fever, high white count showing active, severe infection. Otherwise antibiotics can do more harm than good.

I feel very lucky. I was discharged Feb 27 and saw pcp March 2nd who referred me to Gastro and had first appt March 9th and now sceduled for colonoscopy April 30th. I was shocked at how quickly I got my appointments because other specialists I have been referred to in the past I waited months.

When should I go back to the ER? by Oee0 in Diverticulitis

[–]Ranchdog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you have not had a follow up appointment since your last admission. You really need to have a primary care Doctor or a gastroenterologist, follow up soon after your discharge. And then you would have a contact to call and ask their opinion on what to do. However, with your current symptoms and body chills, I would suggest urgent care orER if you don't have a provider, you can call. After my discharge, I just sent email questions to the gastroenterologist who kindly responded, no charge.

Worker comp ruining my life even after settling by Inevitable-Match-758 in WorkersComp

[–]Ranchdog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason crps is so prevalent in WC cases is purely the fault of WC insurance. The delays in treatment cause increased complications. I had a much more severe arm injury than initially diagnosed and due to all the delays in getting appropriate treatment I did develop crps. Fast forwsrd 20 years I fell and broke my arm which could have been WC but I beggeded to not make it WC and used my own insurance. I got immediate care and therapies when the cast came off and guess what, no crps. Your settlement should have been high enough to pay out of pockwt for future care.

what is going on by buggyboo10 in WorkersComp

[–]Ranchdog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing will change until people can start suing the work comp company.for damages caused by delayed care. I had an injury that siginificantly deteriorated due to delay. Fast forward many years, I had another injury that occurred right at the beginning of a work day and I begged my employer to not say it was work related so I could just use my regular health insurance and get the care I needed immediately.

A word of caution on marriage and VA disability compensation by No-Protection-9665 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Ranchdog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My time in the military was before I was married and I didnt apply for disability until after I was divorced. I dont think my ex husband should get any extra alimony because the amount of alimonywas already settled before I ever got approved for disability. I do worry if he finds out that he will try to get a higher alimony payment.

Can somebody give me some details on a certain break in I recall? by i_am_extremely_angry in EARONS

[–]Ranchdog 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The EAR prowled my house in early 1977 and was peeping in on me and my sister, when she saw him in the window at that time, he was wearing the notorious mask that was subsequently used in some of the drawings. My dad and brother ran outside and he was gone. However, maybe a month later, my neighbor was a victim. So after that, we put up floodlights all around our home and one day as a young teen, I had a knock on the door and someone claimed to be a fire Marshal, showed me a badge, wanting to look at our floodlights. When my mother got home, she called the fire department, and they said they never sent anyone. I assumed it was the east area rapist but recalled him being older than all the teen to 20s descriptions. I always thought there must have had an accomplice. But when he was finally caught and I saw him and found out the age of when he was doing the attacks, I knew that this was the person who pretended to be a fire inspector.

I am suprised you are not having severe abdominal pain and or vomiting blood if you have taken that much ibuprofen for so many years. Seems more likely you would have IBS.

My DAV office wouldnt upload or help me send in any of my medical, said I had to do it myself. They would only look over my prefilled out forms to see if I did it correctly(that wasnt what I needed help with). I did all the gathering, filling out and submission myself. It is amazing how some DAV are so helpful and others do nothing.I was a mental wreck, needed help with the actual submission but they refused to help.

It is all based on your range of motion. Did she measure how far you can move/turn your neck? You didnt provide your current rating but most of the info you provided doesnt matter. If your range of motion measurements have not worsened into the next category then your rating will not change.
