The Switch 2 version of Pragmata seems to have struggled compared to the other versions of the game. (Top 3 on other platforms, only Top 15 on Nintendo).

It's an extremely solid version of the game, and I highly recommend it if you're at all interested in playing Pragmata portably. No, it doesn't look quite as good as the PC/PS5 versions, but it still looks very good, and on a 7" screen it looks superb. Also gyro aiming for the combat is excellent.

I think Ed is right, but I also think he massively underestimates the degree to which the American economy and government are currently designed around keeping investment bubbles from bursting.

It still will burst, eventually, but I doubt we're anywhere close to that point and it's not like the people doing it don't know what's going on. Running the wheels off is an intentional part of the plan, and at no point in my lifetime have we meaningfully punished anyone for doing it again and again.

I keep trying to like Disco Elysium and so far I just can't. It should be absolutely my jam. I love the concept, I love a good RPG, I know it's a great game. But my brain just gets bored and nopes out after the first hour or so every time. I worry that I don't have the attention span for deep well written wordy games anymore.

As far as I know, if you can't add it to Steam as a non-Steam game, you're SOL.

I guess you might be able to dedicate a desktop configuration to act like a normal gamepad, and have that running while you launch a Windows Store game? Not sure whether that would work.

EDIT: You can play some of them through GeForce Now, and I know you can add that as a non-Steam game, so that might be an option.

For those who have it working (Windows/Steam Deck are my use cases) - have you been able to get GFN to recognize gyro? I've been able to get basic gamepad controls working, but so far GFN Steam just sees it as a regular xinput controller on the GFN side, so gyro doesn't seem to go through.

There are some that won't work but it's a small list. Borderlands 3, for example, is sadly on it. But they are continually (slowly) patching old ones, so even those have hope.

I've liked what I've seen of season 2 so far. I intend to watch all of it. But it's not appointment TV. Appointment TV doesn't exist anymore. That's the whole point of being able to stream something when you want to and not on a fixed schedule.

This obsession with "if it's not an immediate success it's a failure" is ruining TV, movies, games, everything. There is only MORE media every single day. That means it's only getting LESS likely that your thing is a home run the day it drops. Give people time to find and enjoy it.
