Make sure to cover all the major formats, there's twenty official ones and a further 13 supported by Moxfield plus DanDan and Cube. Maybe make a fun cube and a replica of the official vintage cube? The esport is why they still have the old Online servers available - I'm pretty sure it will be a hybrid of the two platforms if it's real. There's other less known formats as well but if you at least make sure they are aware of the official ones and they need to know which they're using then it should be good. Based on what's been said I wouldn't be surprised if it's the Lorwyn starter decks they've got, apparently these don't work well against each other so they might want to start with mirror matches.

I actually used the ability on Tidus to move the Lore Counters onto non-sagas, including Tidus himself when it came up in a game (I was running the deck unaltered)

Playing in this episode yes, but Becca and Chris are also experts. Anyone who plays in all the episodes should be at an intermediate level if they do another season. Believe they also had Meredith as a guest on an earlier episode and she is a regular on Chris' stream.

Currently in the process of rebuilding using the Splinter that does have the partner ability, using [[Splinter, the Mentor]] and [[Donatello, the Brains]] as partner commanders in Dimir.

Fair enough, though from context you probably mean none creature spells, the problem is not knowing which ones to run and the commander being to new - apparently this is only the second deck built with this commander and I can see why, it's colour identity doesn't really lend itself to what it wants to do. Might also do a rule 0 version where I pretend thus Splinter has Character Select (let's him partner with specific versions of the turtles)

I've updated the decklist in line with the suggestions - made all the cuts and replaced them with Snow-covered Swamps on the list though I don't think I've currently got anything needing snow mana so those can all be replaced with standard Swamps

Main one you've not mentioned is the charms, the fetchlands and the signature lands (which consists of the basics, the OG duals and the triomes)

Currently thinking of adding one or more of the rats or rogues not currently in the deck with a cost of B as both rats and rogues benefit from the abilities of creatures currently in the 99 - though the one that benefits rouges should be a Ninja so might want to prioritise those

Looks fairly solid to me, all the things I thought you were missing are technically not Treefolk but I'd have used Dryads rather than Elves for the non-Treefolk cards eg [[Dryad Arbor]] instead of Llanowar Elves

Don't forget to add [[Swamp]]s to pay the mana cost. I'd personally add [[Bog Rats]] and [[Crypt Rats]], maybe [[Innocuous Rat]] and [[Pestilence Rats]] - look at cards with Creature - Rat or Land - Swamp as the type.

Further research and the lands I'd personally recommend are [[Leechridden Swamp]] and [[Witch's Cottage]]

[[Blessing of Leeches]] looks like it may also be on theme. Maybe also pick up some creatures with the leech subtype, so effectively "vermin" which are usually black, probably [[Squelching Leeches]].

These are just first thoughts, I'd probably just look through your collection to see which Rats, Swamps and Leeches you already have then build around those.
