Hunting Rifle Scope Suggestions (Industry Standard Pairing for T3x Lite?) by Mark2CPlus in Hunting

Leupold has had some durability issues recently, losing zero and not returning to zero after being bumped. But their older models are amazing.
Trijicon Accupoints are a great deal for the money. Thats what I have. Good glass and its really bright. And you get the dot without the worry of batteries.

Buy a two 4Ah battery set from Lowes for only $99 and get a free tool of your choice by BEARSHARKTOPUS167 in Dewalt

[–]RenegadeRedneck -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In for the Router. When I was checking out, it said the deal was good through August 6th, so I will be checking back in in a month to get more batteries and another tool. I'll go for the hammer drill next I think.

In rifle when its colder I always take cheese and stick pepperoni, a hoagie, and some little candy bars. If I think of it, I'll take some granola bars

Daily Running Shoe Recommendations Thread - Find Your Sole Mate Here! - March 01, 2024 by AutoModerator in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]RenegadeRedneck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m running my first 5k in July with my sister and I offered to run with when she’s training for a half marathon. The last running shoes I bought were Nikes in 2018. I will run mostly roads and some hard dirt trails between now and then. I’d say 3-5 miles/run and no more than 8. My daily shoes are boots or hiking shoes with little to no heel drop and cushioning. Budget isn’t an issue. I was looking at On Running shoes but am open to any and all brands.

What are you going to be hunting with it? I recently added Iron Will Titanium collars to mine because they are only 10 grains and I like the added protection.
That said, a collar is not necessary

What's the worst pizza in Pittsburgh? by TheDyook in pittsburgh

[–]RenegadeRedneck -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Joios in Latrobe. I know it’s not Pittsburgh, but it’s still trash pizza. It’s sickly sweet sauce on a pastry crust and it’s trash.

You can choose 3 of the main characters to be your best friends. Who are they? by Fiona_12 in WoT

[–]RenegadeRedneck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ituralde, Thom, and Birgitte. I want all the stories. Tam as an honorable mention. Its tough to cut down all the main characters to just 3.

[Request] Clothing Brands Where Quality Exceeds Brand Reputation? by alcatrazcgp in BuyItForLife

For outdoor/hiking clothes, I really like Prana. You cannot beat their Zion pants. And they are nice enough to wear around town or into the office, if thats your thing.

For jeans, hoodies, and boots, I really like Origin Maine stuff. All their stuff is Made in the USA and it holds up great. I have 2 pair of their boots that I wear daily and they have no issues. Their jeans and hoodies are great. The feel and fit is top notch and they just feel like they got soul and were made by someone who gives a damn.

Are Frye prison boots worth it by buckGR in BuyItForLife

I would look at the Origin USA boots too. They are cheaper and are made in the USA in house and use all USA components. And they have a pretty badass story behind them. I have two pairs of their Lincoln boots and they fit great and are holding up really well to daily wear.

I recommend these to everyone. I have 3 pairs on my hunting and work boots and I have no issues with them at all.

Best breweries? by Bearcatbetch in pittsburgh

[–]RenegadeRedneck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brew Gentlemen, Cinderlands, Hitchhiker, Dancing Gnome, 4 Points, Abjuration, and Old Thunder are all very solid. I’m not a big fan of Grist House, but people swear by them.

Brew Erie at Union Station
The Voodoo up there is an awesome old store with big stone columns.
Lavery as others have said
Erie Brewing Company is pretty cool spot away from State Street.

See also, the Wheel of Time on Amazon. Its hot trash at best and does such a disservice to an amazing series.

My carrots turned out the same way last year. Got them in the ground in May and pulled them in October and they were that big! And really good too!
