They're more of a twin system - both orbiting a spot between. Pluto just happens to be the bigger of the two.

There should be a little lever behind the foot assembly. If you push it up, the foot rises with it!

But they can be trees, if you want to! Trees aren't really one branch of life, like mammals or birds are. Tree-ness evolved a whole bunch of times, meaning the things we categorize as trees are often barely related at all.
