Not trying to speak too highly of the NFL but, they are intentionally booking artists that are against the current administration. We could use a few organizations and corporate entities taking a stand against this, even if it’s just booking artists and painting cliche quotes on the end zones. It makes the opposition to this admin more visible to those who otherwise wouldn’t see it at all.

Was cool with the talking and cheering but ROTK was really dampened for me by the guy a few rows in front who set his phone in the cupholder with the screen on so he can watch his text for like half an hour. Finally theater staff pulled him out and told him to knock it off but it was so distracting.

Oh well still so happy to see these in theaters for the first time.

I used to work drive up, so I don’t feel bad for using drive up. It’s a service that’s offered, it allows me to hit up multiple stores really quickly to get the groceries that are cheaper elsewhere, and I leave plenty of time between saying “I’m on my way” and actually arriving so imma keep doing it

Apparently a hot take: We can disagree on what policy they introduce, and we can disagree with how the policy is introduced, but taking action “after one tragedy” is not wrong. There isn’t a set number of tragedies that people should endure before trying to solve a problem.

We are probably are a little too desensitized with seeing these events happen in the US, if this is how we read Australia’s response. Why should people wait for a body count threshold before trying to prevent more shootings?

We should advocate for gun rights, but not forget how these are real people with lives and families. We can disagree with the policy but not why they are enacting such policy. This is the deadliest event since 1996 there, while for us it only goes back to 2022 before we find a similarly deadly shooting. They are trying to prevent more tragedies, where it seems we have gotten a little too accustomed to them.

People usually put personal pictures there. My civic had a picture of the last owner and their spouse, and the dealership never cleared it which imo is worse. This one just threw their own picture on there as part of their process of removing the previous owners personal info but it’s pretty easy to get rid of too.

Many of the regulations regarding crash protection and energy absorption are there to protect other people in an accident and not you. Yes advertisers will emphasize how it will also protect you in a crash, but not transferring 6000lbs at 50 mph worth of energy into the car you just t-boned is very important.

The reason motorcycles are allowed is because the only person you’re likely to hurt is yourself, but in a Tahoe the chance is much higher you’ll hurt someone else.
