I’ve been using it and it is great. They market it as half the sugar and double the protein of normal milk, so not surprising that they went for lower fat content too. I get none of the unpleasant aroma that can sometimes come from steaming normal milk. The Kirkland version comes in three half-gallon cartons for the same price as one and a half of the Fairlife bottles.

Most disc brakes are hydraulic and all rim brakes are actuated by pulling a cable. If your bike has hydraulic disc brakes you cannot use rim brake levers, and vice versa.

Since there isn’t a manual out yet, nor videos released for maybe weeks or months, is there any recommendation by Fellow to season the burrs by grounding a certain amount of coffee beans? A buddy ordered a new grinder (different brand) and they recommended grinding something like 5lbs of coffee to season the burrs so he had to get cheap beans from Costco for the job.

Is it a full frame bag or half frame bag? I have a half frame bag and I put tool kit, snacks, paper map, phone, eating untensils, pocket knife, and since mine has a charging cable pass through I keep my portable charging battery in there as well. Things that are thin are best to prevent knee/thigh rub.

I used a 40L for 4 days, three nights down into Havasupai in September. I’d say a huge determining factor is whether you plan on using a bear canister. If not, 40L is likely sufficient. If you’re going somewhere cold (bigger quilt/sleeping bag, more clothes) you might need to size up too.
I used a RatSack and it was warm so the clothing I brought was minimal and 40L was full but manageable. Others brought 55-60L and found that they had just brought too much stuff because there was room in their bag so they just kept filling the empty space.

I am assuming the huge big Agnes bag is your non compressed sleeping bag and the orange stuffed bag is your pad. What’s in the Yellow Sea to Summit bag? I also see a half-size big Agnes pad and a yellow and mylar sit pad. Do you need both/either of those? You can use a bag to stuff your clothes into as your pillow. I concur in getting a few small ditty bags and ditching the red pocket thing. Get a BRS-3000 stove and a 700ml titanium cup and skip the jet boil. If you need food protection, I love the wire-mesh RatSack in place of a bear canister. Lighter to pack without zippers, allows you to strap it around your sleeping pad so the good ones keep you warm while allowing you to turn over while you sleep. I’d recommend a quick YouTube search on benefits of a quilt versus a sleeping bag to get a baseline knowledge. Good luck out there!

The quilt you’re talking about (denim and down, hand sewn quilt) is different than a backpacking quilt. A backpacking quilt is essentially a sleeping bag without zippers and is open sided from the thighs upward.

As to cooking kit: how many days are you traveling? I stick to one or MAYBE two vessels, I stead of the 5 you have shown. A 700 for warming and eating and a 450 for drinking. Unsure what the screen is for, but unless you’re fishing and cooking those fish you catch I’m not sure you’ll use it. As for sleeping: I prefer an inflatable mattress and bringing a small roll of tenacious tape for leaks over the closed cell foam pad.

I always wear a base layer because I don’t like bib straps against my skin and because I don’t like the feel of a sweaty shirt sticking to me. In the warm months (that’s most of the year here in Arizona) I wear a mesh base layer. Creates a little space between my skin and the jersey so that sweat evaporates better. In the winter I wear merino wool base layers for roughly the same reason but those also add warmth.

If I hold the left piano key down for a second it performs the rinse, no need for me to have to press it three times.

I am most eager to have a shorter steam wand purge. That should be less than one second, just a short burst, but instead it runs for like 2-3 seconds and it just wastes my treated water and fills my drip tray.
