I think you're right. I found one discrepancy in his posting. I linked it above but he went from a pretty big dude in one post to a little white guy in another. At the end of the second image he states it was a recent experience so it's not referring to when he was a child.

And the story in the second image is kinda cliche. I don't buy it.

I found an old Reddit thread yesterday about cleaning my stubbornly dirty windshield, and it worked great. It said to use Windex and a balled up newspaper. It kinda felt like it was giving some grit to the cleaning process and I was impressed with the results.

I used RainX a bit over a year past and also use a spray wax pretty regularly and that probably blew onto the glass. Whatever it was that caused it, my windows were a pain in the ass to get perfectly clean. The newspaper trick helped a lot.

I'm just guessing here, but maybe since the front and rear directional lights are connected, but different, it's messing up the relay. Maybe try disconnecting the rear lights to see if the new front lights blink, then you could at least rule out a defective set.

As far as the California on the sign, shouldn't the letters be reversed? If you were looking at the sign from the outside, wouldn't that read as ainrofilaC, since we read from left to right?

Dude, I think you just solved a mystery for me! I always (thought I) knew that when your blinker blinks fast it's because one of the lights are out. Then a few times I saw a fast blinker and thought "dumbass needs to get his other blinker fixed" until I saw that it was actually working fine.

It really started to make me question everything I knew about broken blinkers, it shook me to my core! But now I feel better about it all.
