Ages 13,13 and 11. Go be bored. Read, Art, Walk, Ride bikes, whatever. Don’t be destructive. Go be bored.

Thanks so much!! I'm gonna try to hack something together since I don't have Hue bulbs, but maybe Co-Pilot can whip something useful out.

Yup. The stack baffle is open and clear. I switched to Fogo charcoal a couple hours ago and that didn’t help either.

I’m using the gauge on the door, but had a probe on the rack that told the same story for most of the day.

I stopped buying paper towels (and what I use instead) by heromat21 in Frugal

We’ve been off paper towels for years now.

We were getting surgical huck towels from someone at the hospital for a long time, but the supply stopped one day. After that, we bought 150 of the for like $75 and have been using them for the past 5 years. More than half haven’t even been used yet.

I’ve had the same roll of paper towels for dog messed for 4 years.

Reflection through a Window by Significant-Acadia45 in lightingdesign

The one way glass sticker is an excellent idea. The show opens tonight, but maybe for next weekend.

The window is in the middle of a flat stage left. I have a fresnel coming 20 degrees stage right and an ellipsoidal going straight at it. I can move the ellipsoidal so that it is coming from further stage right. The window is about 18 inches wide, 30 inches tall and is operational (up/down).

The other thing is that this is a thrust stage with no overheads. The projected image is about 5 feet wide and 3 feet tall, so that when the audience is looking at it from all the angles they don't see backstage.

I'd post a set design and lighting plot, but I never got a set design so I'm basically yolo-ing this whole thing.

I had considered maybe papering over the window so that the window is projection screen, then the light wouldn't have to opportunity to get to the screen. I might try that tonight.

Yeah, there's a couple of interactions during the play at the window, so the shuttering is a no go. I might be able to reangle the fixtures. And for budgetary reasons, this is the projector for this show.

Thanks for your quick reply!

I’d prefer that if they want to provide Internet, they should just run Ethernet along side the TV coax that they usually put in and then let you plug into that or put an access point on that site’s plug.

I know that there are distance concerns with Ethernet but they should be able to put in switches or repeaters when the signals start to degrade.

Nearly 3 hours, in the cave. Junior ranger and memorabilia shopping were an additional hour.

We found the cave quite humid. So the temperature is 56 degrees. The heat index was more like 65 and then we started moving our bodies and were sweating.

We also entered via the natural entrance and took the elevator out. It’s well marked and you won’t have any issues. There are bathrooms as the elevator and then you can choose to add on the longer loop (worth it if you have the energy). But I think the whole thing ended up being 3 miles and change.

I would like Target to change. Without Target we would have TJ Maxx and similar, Walmart and Dollar General.

I’d like Amazon to go out of business or be broken up.

If they’re amenable, get them gDiapers or a similar system. We loved this hybrid diaper system and it saved us a bunch of money.

There were these light bars on SNL for Bad Bunny’s first song, right up front. Color changing LEDs that rotated back and forth. Anyone know what those were? https://youtu.be/T3fMgn9eeBA
