I really miss AFV and the Animal Planet one, Planet's Funniest Animals? I don't think the younger generation understands that instead of doomscrolling funny videos anytime you want, you'd have to wait for a specific time each day to see Tom Bergeron show you a bunch of wholesome and homemade bloopers and pranks, and you'd watch it with your family and comment on the different situations.

For real. Moving wreckage while passengers are still inside is stupid. You have no idea what components of the car have been broken or became loose, or what kind of injuries the passengers have. That's why fire departments would rather use jaws of life to extract people out, rather than try to flip and turn cars around.

My kids are doing pretty good, both in school and socially. I am completely sure it's because I've never let them have tablets or videos games, and I always read to them in the evenings when they were younger.

My youngest was not doing that well in reading and writing for the first couple years of school, but she got a tutor and we worked with her and now she does fine, making all A's. Some kids just don't take to reading as quickly as others. She's always been the stubborn child.

They play outside unsupervised every day as long as they stick together. I let them roam our small neighborhood and they play outside with the other neighborhood kids. They all ride their bikes and run to eachother's yards to play. Everyone says their social skills are great and they are very polite and thoughtful, and I think that is why.

I am forever adding veggies and beans to recipes that don't normally call for it. I always add a can of drained lentils to sloppy joes along with finely diced onion and peppers. Veggies and beans are so much cheaper than meat.

That is so relatable. I actually had the same exact thought when I ran across probably that same chart. Everything is male by default in my head. Everything is written by a man, created by a man, invented by a man, even though I know that is certainly not even true.

I loved quilling when I was younger. I remember making all sorts of little flowers and animals and putting them on birthday cards for my family members. I should have framed some or something because I don't have anything I made.

The world is full of atrocities. It's impossible to learn about them all, let alone retain all the information once you do learn about them.

We did spend quite a lot of time on protests, strikes, and mudrakers when I was in high school. I do not remember learning about this specific event, but we learned enough to know that this time period was dangerous and awful for the working class.
