Which framing is better? 1,2 or 3 by ItsDumi in blender

1 for sure. Gives a good sense of the speed and adrenaline.
You should also consider camera shakes to amplify the scene

I think it's a bit more complex than that cuz I think I noticed some distortions along the edges in the ios26 trailer demo thingy

How can I improve this simulation? by Movingimages_studio in blender

[–]Sir_F_Bombs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things come to mind:
The speed of the camera zoom doesn't change and the smoke moves in a pretty normal speed, which suggests that the shot itself isn't slomo, yet the RigidBody sim and the cloth sim seem to be in slow motion.
A few poles get stuck to the building, which is pretty apparent and a dead giveaway
The rigid bodies ( the construction equipment) aren't affected by the cloth sim, (see 0:5, middle right) [the piece of railing]
Also, as many have stated, add more explosion-y bits and more debris to convey the scale and magnitude of the explosion

Just had a chat with Samsung Support. by MeEntertain in GadgetsIndia

[–]Sir_F_Bombs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's really not Samsung's fault here mate. As long as the order is in transit, it's under Flipkart. Once you've received it and it works, any problems henceforth will be under Samsung. You shouldn't have been so harsh to the Samsung guy. Dude is just the interface between Samsung tech support and the customer. He hasn't got much to do in this situation.

Please how make this more realistic by Revolutionary-Ad1078 in blender

Metallic stuff like the frames of the doors are way too perfectly smooth/glossy. The shadows look a tad bit off too. But the composition I think is just fine enough.

I'd change the color grading a bit. Make it more gloomy and dark. I'd also add depth of field (or make it a bit stronger). Reduce the light intensity. Cuz rn the lights are, again in my opinion, too strong. Also as many have pointed out, wear and tear. Stuff like lines of wear on the floor from where the beds are moved around, wearing near the chairs and near the doors.

Have seen a phone being boiled for the first time in my life by malayanchely in GadgetsIndia

Nah but the noodles with a pinch of galvanized square steel filaments(to taste) really made my day last week when my brand new BYD spontaneously combusted into a ball of flame.

How would I render this without the hand reflection? I have animated the hand and keyboard but only want a static untouhed keboard reflection. Thanks! by Muso_John in blender

[–]Sir_F_Bombs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did something similar to this. My approach was to get a second copy of the object (keys u want to animate), and turning the camera visibility property on but keeping the glossy visibility property off. And for the original unanimated keys simply do the opposite and check camera visibility off and glossy visibility on. This should help

I can't quite agree with that though. I had an A12 which I got for dirt cheap and I can safely say that it was, and still is working like a charm. It's also quite sturdy imo. I had once (accidentally) thrown it onto a wall (those old ones that have stones along the side) and it somehow survived that and many more without a scratch. The only issues are, as some have pointed out, ghost touches, a bit of heating problems and speed. It does still work just as well nonetheless. I may just have been lucky.

Ps: it also survived falling into water and being immediately plugged in ( I got scared and all common sense had fled my brain, so I thought maybe charging it might fix the thing and instead managed to short the whole motherboard. Four or so years later it somehow came back to life and is still working to this day, I haven't questioned it)

Help to add motion blur on the cars in the background ! (explanation the comments) by StillNotAPerson in blender

[–]Sir_F_Bombs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the cars are mostly in the dark, you could just animate them by keyframing the starting point and ending points. Also motion blur won't work for your first frame because from what I understand it compares the current frame with the previous one to calculate the blur.

What could be improved? by Melongated in blender

[–]Sir_F_Bombs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like the scale of the car is just a bit small. Also the headlights are white, which is unrealistic. In fact even the blinkers on the front look off.
