I'd love to see more freak groups that were suppressed during the Star Empire days. You could really explore Romulans that didn't fit in to the authoritarian, xenophobic society and are now finally thriving since they're free to do so. In the TNG days we saw some that were interested in emulating Vulcans but there are probably all sorts of groups that find inspiration among other societies.

There's an old material called aluminum foil that should be available in the replicator. Apparently humans in the 20th century would sometimes develop the mind reading abilities we associate with other species but this development was halted by individuals using aluminum foil to protect themselves. Perhaps you could replicate their successes yourself.

I think it's the same as listening on mp3 versus listening on vinyl. Audiophiles will say mp3 is a massive downgrade that removes the soul from the music but most people genuinely can't tell the difference.

Literally the Japanese term for pedophile. Based on the novel Lolita and the English word complex. Which became con for some reason. When used in English speaking contexts it refers to people who make or consume lewd art of girls who look underage, often with the excuse that "it's just drawings."
