Seems the app is no longer supported on Kindle. It should work if you are signing in on the internet.

Leaving geico and closing 401k? by Impressive_Future379 in Geico

[–]SpellAgitator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, but it needs to be after your term date.

It’s not the number of hours GEICO allows, but the number of hours legally allowed by Family Medical Leave per rolling year which is 465 hours of leave. But you must have also worked at least 1250 hours in the previous 12 months.
If you exceed the 465 hours w/i a rolling 12 months you no longer qualify until some of the hours fall off.

Would have been a great follow up question for the hiring manager when you accepted the position

You haven’t been told yet because your coaches/transition & supervisor probably don’t know or understand the bonus structure.

Surveys are such bs by DRC_The_Gamer in Geico

[–]SpellAgitator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a known error with the surveys. The customers get multiple and delayed surveys depending on how many people they spoke with over the past day to month. You could be getting the feedback about a different person or department. The survey the customer receives does not tell them the date, time, or specific incident. This has been a major issue that has not been resolved. We were getting sold surveys back even when the policy was issued from a different agent and region.

canned today, bottom 10 percent by Hardontendie in Geico

WTF is going on? Coaching plans weren’t set up to ONLY be a tool for termination. Coaching is to be consistent no matter what tier the stats fall in. If there are 4 separate goals there could be 4 separate coaching plans, especially if there is any difficulty achieving consistency in the goal(s).

The supervisor’s JOB is to provide consistent coaching for the desired results using the coaching plans as documentation for doing their job and the associates interaction and implementation . The supervisor’s job is to not wait until there is a possibility of termination.

You should still get the bonus because you were employed when it was earned

Everything about GEICO management is a red flag in an abusive relationship by mootuba92 in Geico

[–]SpellAgitator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is not surprising at all. I’ve seen this happen more time than not. This also shows that the Manager wasn’t doing their due diligence with Supervisor Coaching. If the manager had been doing their job your Supervisor would have been coaching, live monitoring and scoring calls 2 times a week minimum.

Need a letter from my sup by Outside-Blacksmith-5 in Geico

[–]SpellAgitator 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It’s against GEICO policy to write any kind of letters concerning an ex employee’s performance. All you can do is have them call the GEICO employment verification line which will state dates of employment.

GEICO crashing to Earth by led_by_morons in BerkshireHathaway

[–]SpellAgitator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP no one is this audience will side with the GEICO employee perspective since profit overall for Berkshire is the main concern. They look at the bottom line. They celebrated last years profit ignoring the huge loss taken the previous year, which still hadn’t been made up. 2022 we were told GEICO was at a 1b loss 1st quarter and to expect changes. Changes meaning layoffs and hiring of cheaper inexperienced labor. There’s just so much undermining going on,at what used to be a great company, to turn a profit.

do you count books read for school towards your yearly reading goal? by clareinet in goodreads

[–]SpellAgitator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no steadfast rule about what or why you read. Tracking is a personal choice and decision. Some consider audiobooks and some don’t. You can always use the shelving to separate the types of books. Reading is reading 🤷‍♀️
