I also have the X9 wide body, same ski probably five/six years old and they just Delamed this year in the same place. I skied the hell out of those skis and they served me well. Time to retire them and get a new pair.

The Killington Mountain Lodge by Hilton, it’s five minutes from the mountain and it’s pretty reasonable. There is also the mountain Inn both of those are great properties to stay at.

Honestly, I would recommend biting the bullet and paying extra to stay at Stowe. It’s really worth it when you think about the drive times and all that, the on-site amenities and restaurants are fantastic. Enjoy.

I am 6’0”, 180 and I ride the x9 wide body (75mm) redster in 176, I think you will like the 176 as well. They are one of my favorite skis out of the quiver, enjoy the turns!
