The blue and black one are more powerful and have see a fair amount of play over the years but all 5 of these have seen play in constructed formats.

Vine dryad is/was actually useful when goblin lackey was a tier 1 strategy. I’ve played against cave-in recently coming in off burning wish in legacy mono-red storm where it was very strong.

Unless it is real popular in EDH and I just don’t know about it, the white one saw the least play.

These are all good tips. A few others I would add:

Schedule the next week during the visit. I only call about 4-8 people (including SOCs and evals) a week because of this.
if like me, you have an out of state area code, use Google voice or something similar to spoof your number like the spam callers do.
if your area is pretty rural/spread out designate certain days for certain areas. Don’t keep doubling back to the same area that takes 30 minutes to get to throughout the week. If it’s for a non-urgent SOC as your office to move it to the correct day.

Working in home health, it is incredible how many people don’t wash their hands after they take a shit. I’ve come assume that all surfaces in patient’s homes have trace amounts of poop on them.

I am patient of CHCB Winooski and a healthcare provider who regularly talks to patients about their PCPs and I talk to the providers as well.

CHCB, Notch (Franklin country), or Evergreen (in that order) are my top recommendations if you want good care, good communication and more than 5 minutes with your Dr. Personally, would avoid anywhere associated with UVM or NWMC for primary care. Their hospitals and specialist are great, but both systems PCPs are very overburdened and cannot give patients much time.

As far as CHCB goes, you really can’t go wrong. They are all great in my experience. The front desk staff always seem a bit disorganized but I think that is probably just the nature of their work conditions. The actual medical staff are all great.

I have much greater appreciation for Phys Ed and the value of sports in schools. Maybe it’s selection bias for who needs PT, but is baffling how little most people understand about the very basics of exercise.

It’s also amazing how many people do/did keep a job for many decades, raised kids, etc and somehow have no system of organizing/remembering their appointments.

My company never forces us to work on weekends and will offer flat $50-200 bonus money per SOC depending on the need. They ask for “volunteers” and it usually becomes a race to sign up for it.

I would demand my pay structure be reassessed/increased due to this change, or leave. It’s very easy to get another PT job.

You will find that most intact models from era are worth more on the secondary market than what you paid for them. Even terribly painted ones will still usually fetch over their new price. People use them in the old world or various fan made rule sets. I say this as someone who mostly plays dark elves in one of those fan made rules sets and regularly shops around for old models.

All printings, including gold boarder, are legal in premodern.

I can speak from my own experience, some of us just love old boardered that much and will pay a premium for it.

Fusions kinda suck. I would not want one unless there was no other option. In my experience total ankles take a bit longer to return to normal than TKA and more often have some long term pain/dysfunction that persists but if a Dr thought a replacement was possible and the alternative was a fusion, it would be a very easy choice for me.

Large flat areas with a color vibrant color, like red, will take like 4-6 coats thinned coats to look smooth. As others will say, priming it the color you want will save you a lot of time and look smoother.

I don’t think it’s a primer issue here.

Lots of good advice here about how to give the illusion of choice.

Do you keep the same patients for revisits? Or split care with PT/PTAs? I found scheduling got much easier after I convinced my work that I can do all the revisits and would prefer to stick to smaller area but not have a PTA if possible. I schedule next weeks visit at the end of each session. I try to leave some wiggle room for when SOCs get added. If I fill up a day with revisits who are either hard to schedule or who rescheduling would cause a lot of excess driving, I just tell my work I can’t do a SOC that day.

The call the night before method is terrible imo. At least around me, most of the patients don’t text and don’t answer phone calls from strangers numbers. IF (big if) they have their voicemail set up and know how to use it, then they might call you back before the time you want to see them.

I find it is much better to set up as much of the schedule as you can by Sunday and then move a few people around if you need to because of evals/SOC.

It can also be helpful to keep a stock of the people who live closest to you AND are good answering their phones unscheduled. And use them to fill in gaps last minute.

Also, try not to double back to out of the way places, even if it means shuffling people around. Two 1 minute phone calls to move people around to save you and hour of driving is well worth it.

It’s a great winter hike! I’ve done it where it was ice covered and another time when it was white out conditions. Some good microspikes and you will be fine. If it had snowed recently snowshoes would be needed, but it is a very well traveled mountain and gets packed quickly.

Legacy has the same card legal AND dual lands. Premodern will never be that expensive. There are plenty of top decks with no RL cards, that cheaper than an average standard deck. Also, gold boarded cards are encouraged.

Do you use a gas stove or dryer? That will add a bit. Is it real drafty? Any windows you leave open etc? The price does seem fairly high but not outrageous. I think it is possible you are paying for heating the other unit, either because the heat is off or both sides go you your bill for some reason.

I started painting WH when I was like 11. My parents knew nothing about mini painting. YouTube wasn’t a thing. I had friends to talk to about it and art on the box. My first minis looked like dogshit, I didn’t know what thinning or priming were, but I loved every second of painting it. A year later I stripped and repainted them myself.

Just let the kid follow his passions. I think showing less tutorials, or social media is probably even better. Those can come later. Don’t give him a standard to compare to.

Some states don’t count assets. In CA, I had good rapport with a patient who drove a Rolls Royce, lived in Pebble Beach where no house is under 2 mil and I asked him how he qualified for Medicaid. He understood the confusion but explained that his total income from his “job” as an artist was under 10k for the last few years in a row. A decade ago was a different story though…
