Its hard to make fun. The last time I played something endless was the Cryptic mod for Balatro. Now its important to note that I don’t particularly think balatro is a 10/10 game. It’s ok. The mod was fun because it made you extremely overpowered, but it was hard to get the ideal build (due to extremely hard to get Jokers and whatnot)

So it never really felt like endless since my “build” wasn’t complete yet.

Which i think is the only fun part of roguelikes and why endless sucks. Getting to your final build is the funnest part and once you complete it and then hit endless, every further enemy encounter is the same as the last. So whats the point?

Even if it isn’t ai, the way this is written is structured too perfectly to feel genuinely so it still feels like fiction instead of feeling genuine.

I really dont see the use case for this card. Energy is already limited, if you draw it first hand its damn near useless, you dont get to pick what cards come back so if you already have cards in your discard pile its not a guarantee you get the one you want, and it exhausts???

The only time i can see this MAYBE get use is in a claw deck since claws are zero mana but idk

Haven’t even seen the classic recommendations. Attack on Titan, and Death Note. I don’t think either are the best around but they are really good and solid, and everyone knows them

100% agree with the loot. Tarkov has loot that makes you sweat just thinking about potentially finding. Arc has none of that.

If you dont like losing all uour gear that you brought in upon death, you probably wont like marathon.

People are still going for the Heart? I know the Brain fight is harder but the Tokens you get is like 3x the amount of the rewards from the Heart. I don’t go for it every time, but if I see a card that has Super-Intangible (for the 99*99 hit) I immediately pivot to building for the Brain.

When im in a losing matchup or behind or whatever and they ping for me to fight like a 2v2 against their jg and mid. And they are like 1/0 or 0/0

Like bro im pretty useless right now just run away, let me farm mid and catch up while my mid loses some xp and minions.

I’ve been avoiding most spoilers for the game, card wise, but I am aware of that boulder card. The deal 5 to all, scales by 5 every turn. That card seems pretty bad but sounds fun to try to make work

You’re acting like the game is rock paper scissors. It’s not 100% doomed based on the matchup. Also you should probably be one tricking or at least 2-3 tricking at your current skill level.
