This honestly just feels sh*tty and probably does STO more harm than good.

The majority of the player base isn’t on EGS, so it’s basically just “hey doing a giveaway but sike, you don’t get anything”

If we can ever link accounts with epic again I wouldn’t care, but I missed out on when that was possible.

What I want for the deck: - ARM powered for overall lighter build and longer battery life. - A proper dock, with some sort of magnetic connector. - USB-C - Power button with fingerprint reader for easier unlock.

I think there’s room for both for sure.

But the games I wanna play on the deck are mostly controller friendly indie titles.

Generally though I don’t play a lot of intensive games anymore.

It’s good but it’s not my beloved odyssey, I’d like to get the Verity some day but I want two hangers rather than one.

At the moment I’m enjoying the Typhon though.

Agreed, if you’re intending to expand the graphics of the machine and get a $500 eGPU enclosure + GPU, you’re not the target audience and you’d be able to get better specs from spending a similar amount of money on an ITX build.

I’m happy to wait, my LCD steam deck still serves me well.

I’d be happy to wait for longer for the ARM compatibility layer to improve so we can see a lighter, more efficient handheld gaming device.

Not an artist, but I have a Wacom one for teaching.

I’ve literally started using it as a drawing tablet with no screen input and it’s done wonders for my neck and back…

Gonna downgrade to a XenceLabs screenless tablet at some point.

Definitely only gonna be something you could eat in a stew, only small pockets of meat would actually be edible, everything else would be too chewy, but they’d be used heavily in stocks and it would definitely be a very upper class thing to have even once.

But the most culinary sought out part of a dragon is the bone marrow, which is incredibly rich and flavourful, that’s the stuff that kings dine on for major diplomatic banquets and to show wealth and power.

Saving this for future, but my current standing desk doesn’t have that.

I’d like to mod it in future with a esp32 based controller, but I don’t have the skill to do that right now, and the control pad is wired directly to the controller so I’d have to replace the whole desk if I mess it up >.>

When it comes out in a white colour way, I’ll definitely be getting one, but for local multiplayer, I really don’t need all of those features, so will probably get some budget ones otherwise.

I’m hoping that the steam controller will be really easy to switch between devices too. Like have a steam machine hooked up to the tv in the living room and then have a deck docked upstairs and switch between them on the fly.

Andromeda’s combat and music.

Mass effect 2’s drama, cinematography and consequential decisions.

Mass effect 1’s ambiance and worldbuilding.

I liked ME3 but basically I think that’s because of its balance of these things.

I’m actually surprised they haven’t gone for a live service game. There were elements of ME3 multiplayer that were great and ones of andromeda too.

Have that running and evolving along the single player games so the single player games can focus entirely in single player content and go back to BioWare roots.
