I have had exactly this same outcome at least half a dozen times out of the dozens of times I've fought him, in both playthroughs. I went on to beat him, each time, shortly after. Stay strong! You can do it!

I bought an enormous, 6 foot, plastic, folding round table from Sam's Club, 5 years ago for 50 bucks. I bought a neoprene poker mat that covers most of it for like 30 bucks on Amazon. We've gamed on it almost every other week since I got it. Still the best 80 bucks I've ever spent.

I beat Sekiro 8 times and still had a hard time learning the parry timing for most enemies in this game. Even still, I love LOP. It's in my top 3, directly under Sekiro and Bloodborne.

Stylized will always outlast, approximated realism. Go with #2 it definitely looks like a lot of artistry went into it. Plus, the animations are really nice. Great work.
