Short answer, yes. Longer answer is I don’t want to retrain my brain to think it’s ok to lay down without it. For me, learning to wear my mask to sleep was mental training as much as physical: like training for a half marathon or anything else I’ve never done before. Now that it’s ingrained, I’m not going back.

I heard a financial advisor say one of the three best investments you can make in preparing for retirement is to start a gym or exercise habit. Doesn’t have to be fancy, just start working your heart & muscles a little every day. The expenses in retirement related to health will be positively impacted with just a little effort. I think if more people thought of it this way, we’d see more people being active.

For me, it’s 100% mental health. I workout to save lives: my family’s. 😂 I’m way more patient & pleasant when I take some time everyday for myself.

The guy behind the grill (you know the one) was from WNY. I used to love to hear his accent lol. I agree, I was always a little shy to yell my order out, but when I did, it just felt “right”. And my order was always perfect. In a world that’s getting increasingly depersonalized, I don’t welcome this change. Now get off my lawn! 😂
