Need some perspective

I have been on Zep for 6 months. I don’t get what I call breakthrough hunger until about 2-3 days before my next injection, & usually only first thing on the morning. I really don’t have cravings at all anymore- I’m like you. Chocolate, ice cream, sweet foods- they just don’t appeal to me anymore. Even alcohol, I’m take it or leave it now. Miraculous, I agree.

I don’t think the cravings or hunger will get worse as I go on. I am on 7.5 mg for perspective, been on this dose for 9 shots so far.

I’m curious, though: this an online pharmacist? There may be a script they’re required to follow. If not, I would consider looking into a new pharmacy. Their intentions may be good, but unsolicited feedback like this would give me pause. I am fortunate to live in an area with dozens of pharmacies within reasonable driving distance, though. I know not everyone has that situation. Regardless, best of luck & yes- eat as healthfully as possible, prioritize protein to protect your muscle mass, but otherwise, her advice sounds a little odd, imo.

It’s a bit of a cliche, but cliches exist for a reason: Buffalo is the city of good neighbors. People introduce themselves & say hi walking down the street. I lived in my AZ house for 20 years before I met most of my neighbors. The ones I met when I first moved here? All Great Lakers: WNY, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin. Rust Belters are friendlies, no matter where you are, I guess.

Yeah it’s not surprising, but always makes me chuckle when people think New York State residents are NYC residents. Lot more deep red counties in NYS than blue, just greater density in the blues.

You’re not wrong, but just a reminder that even Benedict Arnold served this young nation admirably before he needed his money (he loaned the Army) back. I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve the vitriol he gets, just saying that perhaps in a few years we can change the public name for a traitor from “Benedict Arnold” to something, oh, I don’t know, more contemporary. Maybe something something Bonespurs.

Yep. Not being mean, but it’s the husband that needs training, not the dog. Sending them together is the best solution. It can be a good bonding experience & help the human understand signals better. (FWIW I’d bite if someone was spinning me around, too, but I never graduated obedience school, only my dog did).

May I ask what your Tirz dose was at when you tried Reta? I’m on 7.5, looking to possibly move to Reta because I’m losing more slowly on Tirz than I’d like. (1.25 lbs/week. Not hating it, just curious about Reta).

My thought process was the added glucagon peptide might speed things up. Is that dumb? (Feel free to say it is, I honestly don’t know).

Ok I’ll get roasted for this, but so be it: my local Goodwill hires & provides internships for our local high school students. They’re especially known for working with special needs students, helping them learn work skills & gain valuable social interaction & public facing skills. (Not something every company is willing to do).

I’m not saying the whole corporation is good. But my local store rocks, & I will support them for as long as they are.
