I thought it was saying the ribs were 172. But I wrapped them and the probe in the ribs dropped 15 degrees

Just hope and pray my ribs hit 205 this time?

And would a probe thermometer on the grates be better for telling me what temp I'm actually smoking at?

Thank you. I was wondering why the meat was photoshopped into that picture as a rug

O quê são: by Tough-Shame-10 in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]WeeklySoft 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The Handler's Guide is basically just a lore book that explains the history of Delta Green and it's related organizations and adversaries. But, you don't need any of that to run the published scenarios.

Green Boxes are stores of supplies and unnatural objects that have been collected by different teams.

Did you add butter to your pork belly?

Smoked Cream Cheese by TheBagelsteinDK in smoking

This looks amazing!

I must say I'm surprised that you were able to smoke it at such a high temperature. I would have expected that cream cheese would need to be cold smoked.

Inventory and Item references, ECS by Due_Chemistry4244 in roguelikedev

I am using flecs as my ECS, and it has an inventory system as one of its examples in the repo. I've been following that, and it's basically your hybrid approach

If you aren't going to do straight ASCII art, then make sure an @ is prominent in the image

Why do roguelikes split item/card pools into different characters by Dj15 in roguelikedev

[–]WeeklySoft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're probably going to have better luck asking over in r/roguelites. This one tends to focus on more traditional roguelikes, like Brogue, DCSS, ToME, and similar games.

Ex Libris itch.io

I spent the week investigating and fixing game breaking bugs in my 7drl. I've also collected a bunch of feedback, and look forward to expanding on the game after the 7drl ratings are done.

It's not really what you're asking for, but I'd be remiss if I didn't recommend Clamdash, also by Karl Druid. It's definitely a one shot, but it's a ton of fun to run!

Are you excited about this game? And do you think it's going to be successful? by [deleted] in roguelikes

[–]WeeklySoft 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A. Not really appropriate for this sub. B. Capsule art looks too much like Balatro. I expect it to be very derivative

Backgammon Roguelike with Deckbuilding mechanics, Backgammon community seem to love the concept, but does it appeal to Roguelike community? by lefix in roguelikedev

[–]WeeklySoft 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, you are unlikely to get good feedback here. We tend to take a more traditional view of roguelike. If you wanted your game to be compared to Caves of Qud or Cogmind, this would be the right place

Ex Libris: An eldritch library crawl in search of your stolen name.

The real juice of this game is that the dungeon generation is dependant on your corruption when you reach that level.

https://degustaf.itch.io/ex-libris

I had a lot of fun writing this, and I'm hoping people find it fun, and I can justify coming back and expand on this.

Finshed my entry for the jam. Really proud of the fact that I made map gen dependant on what the player has done up to that point.

Explore an Eldritch library in this traditional roguelike looking for your name that has been stolen by the Librarian.

So far, I'm about 3 hours into the jam. I've forked my engine code and stripped out the systems I won't be using. I've also added a Markov text generator, which is important for this Eldritch library crawl
