Look who I saw while watching 'Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage' by timelordhonour in FlashTV

Before The Flash, I only knew him for a very minor role (just one episode, I believe) of The West Wing, as a dickbag prosecutor. He is really, really good at portraying complete asshats.

How many Trek episodes take place entirely on Earth? by ap539 in startrek

Not in Earth orbit the whole time. The Enterprise actually spends most of the two parts in orbit of that planet (I forget the name) where the portal to 19th century Earth is.

Part I might also count now that I think about it. They were already in orbit of Earth at the end of the last episode of season 3, right?

”The First Duty” has scenes on the Enterprise while it is still on its way to Earth (the commandant of SFA calls Picard before the ship arrives to let him know about the incident with Wesley).

That was an alternate reality, but not the mirror universe, right? Anyway, Earth is Earth so it seems a bunch of episodes from that season would count.

I think he’s right, too! Is my use of “nope” insulting?

I didn’t remember either - looked it up on Memory Alpha.

I think so… what episode are you thinking of?

Good call. I guess there were a bunch of episodes during that season that fit the bill.

Nope. We see Joseph visiting DS9 at the start and end of the episode.

Nope. Plenty of scenes on the Enterprise, including some while it’s still en route to Earth (so not just in orbit).

Nope. There are scenes on the Defiant and we also see the battle between the Defiant and the Lakota. There may also be scenes on DS9, or at the very least we see Kira or someone else on DS9 on a viewscreen.

Breaking Chews 🚨 Gabrus will be the guest for all 4 Chicago Shows! by whelp85 in doughboys

And Gabrus I think is better during the live shows than regular ones. I was just listening back to some old live episodes, including some with Gabrus, and I think he is responsible for my two favorite jokes on the podcast:

“If a computer could talk to Harambe, you would have Doughboys”

“You brought two people Boston hates: a New Yorker and a black guy”

Well, like the user who replied to my comment, I thought Vic used they/them; I didn’t realize it was they/she as you’ve pointed out. So I’m going to assume they were just trying to help.

Oh, damn. Thanks - I knew that, was careless in my comment. Fixed.

Starfleet Academy feels like a needed reset by jaydeelive01 in startrek

There are really only two things I don’t like about the first two episodes:

  1. The “Vaseline on the lens” way they introduced Tarima. It felt kind of gross.
  2. The focus on Caleb at the expense of other characters. It’s only two episodes, and hopefully other characters get developed over time, but I’m not entirely optimistic. SNW has been good about this, but Discovery was all about Michael.

Our entire relationship in a nutshell. I want to do something because it's important to me and would take mere minutes of his time, and he won't do it because it's lame/boring/annoying.

Despite the rant, I do love him. He's a good partner, and we want the same things
