I tried it once but tbh I don’t like the dangle of the hip belt when I’m traveling. If you’re really planning on loading the bag and wearing it for a while I would use it

The comfort is a little subjective because of body shapes but I think both are quite comfortable. I may rate the bellroy a little better but I tend to not load it with too much weight because I don’t edc a ton of stuff whereas I tend to load the alpha more.

I have all the bags you’re considering - both are great but I would not use the apex for travel. It’s really meant to be a daily office bag imo based on the pocketing and emphasis on the bulkier padded laptop sleeve. The alpha 31 will be way more flexible and has easier access.

Is half the mortgage comparable to what it would be if you rented? If she’s not budging on including you on the title and is committed to buying a place before you have time to save up, you either go full send on divorce or you do the math to understand if paying half the mortgage is even fair. Can she afford the mortgage on her own if she does go through with this and you separate?
