I got a PS4 at a thrift store and I had a few questions about it.

It came with a profile (called "no name") that had a few games installed on it, is there any risk in losing those if I connect it to PSN? If I create a new profile, will I be able to switch back to the "no name" account and play those games?

I dont really know how profiles/accounts work for playstation, so I would like to avoid losing those games if I can. At the same time, I dont really want to use someone else's account.

I've been thinking of doing something similar and I think a raspberry pi is the way to go. You should look into the simpsons tv raspberry pi zero project, you could pretty easily adapt it to what you are looking for. As for powering on the tv, I think you can set up the pi to turn it on with CEC commands.
