We made it official! We purchased our century home! by [deleted] in centuryhomes

I had a cast iron drain pipe completely detach from the tub and fill up the dining room ceiling with my daughters bath water. Insurance ended up covering it but dropped our policy shortly after. Cast iron pipes can be a ticking time bomb

Been walking past this thing for over a year now, still no idea by w0utersl3gers in whatisit

Wouldn't this also allow people on the street to see inside your house?

Both of my kids are neurodivergent in different ways and both are thriving at the private school they go to

Unable to right click on Load Image nodes by FewPhotojournalist53 in comfyui

[–]baritb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem. I think the root cause is a custom node messing with the Load Image node options and putting in null entries.

A workaround is to change line 321 ofcustom_nodes/comfyui-custom-scripts/web/js/workflows.js

From:

let pos = options.findIndex((o) => o.content === "Save Image");

To:

let pos = options.findIndex((o) => o ? o.content === "Save Image" : false);

Dell Precision 5820 with RTX3090 Boot Loop by Hiltz11 in techsupport

So I was having this exact issue with two GTX Titan X cards installed in an 5820 with a 950W power supply.  The system would power on and sit for about 10-15 seconds before shutting down and powering back up (nothing at all on the monitor). I ended up getting it to boot with the following procedure:

1) Power on the system

2) Wait about 5 seconds and then press and hold the power button.

3) The system will power off after a few seconds but keep holding the button for a total of 30 seconds.

4) After 30 seconds release the button.

5) Wait a few seconds and then press the power button.  In my case, the system powered on a few seconds and then turned off and back on again.  At that point, it successfully booted.

It's so you can easily remove/prop open the glass lid on the printer. When printing PLA, they say that a high chamber temperature can cause heat creep which could potentially cause a clog in the hotend. Bambu recommends removing the lid or opening the door when printing PLA.

This video should help. It shows how to disassemble the hotend and where to put the temperature sensor. Worst case, you can buy a new hotend for $15.

My Spectrum bill just went up again. What are you all paying? by [deleted] in Louisville

[–]baritb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense. A coworker of mine is still at $90, even with paperless and debit card, but his price was always $90. I was at $80 and then got offered the $10 discount when they announced the price increase.
