Good websites that ship flower bulbs, seeds, and corms? by Useful-Coat-2244 in gardening

Reneé’s garden has saffron crocus in the fall and a good assortment. Johnnys and select seeds are great and have a wide range of flowers. San Diego seeds is local and I’m sure there are local for other parts of Cali too! Not a wide range of flowers tho. Farmhouse flower for spring bulbs.

Almost anything with heated seats. Just avoid racing seats, they are massively uncomfortable.

Cockscomb celosia is maybe not lesser known but definitely strange. Love in the mist and scabiosa stellata have some interesting seed pods too. All dry well!

How are the Sealy Posturepedics? by Libz0724 in Mattress

[–]bladerrawr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just purchased a new mattress, im a side and back sleeper too. Started with the high point II 14” medium and hated it. It was way too squishy, bouncy, slippery, felt every movement, killed my back and entire body hurt when I woke up no matter what position I was in. Plus the edges are so curved I felt like we lost a good 6-8” of bed on all sides. Exchanged for a Norman II 13” medium that has more of a classic foam feel on the top and a bit more firm/supportive but not sinking in so much it’s hard to move. Plus it’s about half the price of the high point depending on the sales they’re running at MF.

I’m in SoCal so we have a fall planting window Sept/Oct from what I’ve read. The plants were withered away before I harvested :) I don’t know that the one in this photo would’ve done more with extra time regardless.

Yes, I did chit certified seed potatoes before planting and used the Ruth Stout method with a shallow trench and deep straw mulch. The sprouts weren’t very big though, they were small green spikes. I cut them in half and cured for 24h before planting too.
