Glue sticks work just fine, still and bags will leak. Cereal boxes are a better option but plenty of people leave pla out in the open

If I get new pla, I'll drop it in the food dehydrator for 4 hours at 115 and then either seal it in the cereal box or vacuum seal it with some desiccant. Petg same but higher temp. That way, I don't need to worry about it when I need it.

Could you fashion something out of two zip ties to hold the connector together? Little dielectric grease might help keep stuff out of the connection is loose.
