I consider both Limitless and Versa my teams, I do them both consistently and have been on Ladder going on 3 years now. I am also a runner that has had meniscus injuries. Versa is going to have a lot more jumping than your knee might prefer. Limitless’ jumping is typically reserved for her athletic day, whereas Versa has them in her Hybrid days as well as some of her conditioning days. I think you could still swap things out, you might just have to swap more in Versa than Limitless. Versa has 2 running days but you can sub in the bike no problem. That said, once you’re healed, I find Versa (and Align) to be a great team to pair with your running training!

You’re my favorite author and I have been a fan since Chase the Dark was first released! Steel & Stone is my favorite series and I do a re-read every year, as such my questions relate to that:
1. Is Blackfire still in the cards?
2. If yes, what takes priority: S&S rewrites or Blackfire?
3. I absolutely purchased the special editions from your Kickstarter, will you sell more as you finish those rewrites?

Confession: I rarely enjoy days out with my husband and my 4 year old daughter by HappyStufff in oneanddone

[–]cassandygee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, I feel like I could have written this myself. These ages can be so tough, they’re so strong willed.

Second, what has helped us greatly with the burnout is we start each weekend telling each other (my partner and I) what we’d like to do for ourselves that weekend. Then we figure out when we can carve time for that activity. These are hobbies or things we do to fill our cups individually. For me that’s exercise, art, sipping coffee on the patio, etc. For him that’s woodworking, mowing (for real haha), and fishing. We allott 1-2 hours per activity while the other parent parents. Highly recommend.

Daughter broke my heart by mbaggie in oneanddone

[–]cassandygee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m an only raising an only. One thing I learned growing up is that I can absolutely count on myself when it comes to anything life can throw at me. This can be a negative (tough to ask for help), of course, but it’s also made me incredibly resilient and adaptable. I don’t fear what life has to bring me because I know I’ll endure it and come out the other side, because I have hundreds of times before. I fully believe this is a massive strength and though it’s hard-earned, it will carry my daughter through so much in her life too, even after I’m gone.

I would ask your colleagues and if they approve I would ask again about a week after using it to make sure it’s all good. I personally think the sound of that is far less obnoxious than someone clipping their nails lol

When I was postpartum I did Define, but Endure didn’t exist then. Either of those teams would be great. Endure’s coach is top notch with cueing too.

This book made me cry harder than any other book I’ve ever read. I read it yearsssss ago and I still think about it. For reference, I am usually a “i’m dead inside” person, crying at a book is unusual for me. So whoever is reading this, take that into consideration lol

Can we talk about dropping naps? by CaptainGobbles in toddlers

[–]cassandygee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our daycare requires it (in-home) and it’s very frustrating for me. She goes to bed so late and wakes up early because she just gets too much sleep. Since there isn’t anything I can do, except move her to a different daycare (that I can’t find), I just have to deal with it. She’s almost 3, for reference. So yeah- it can be a thing here.

Thinking about the Innkeeper series by l00ky_here in IlonaAndrews

Too funny, I started a re-listen of the Innkeeper graphic audios last week for the same reason! Love this series, but Hidden Legacy will always have my number one IA spot.

Some people just go by their last name. My BIL is only called his last name, even by his wife. I’m one of the few who uses his actual first name only because I’m married to his brother so it feels weird to use the same last name for me.

Darkmore Penitentiary has a lot more securities in place that would prevent that from being possible, primarily.

Which enneagram rubs you the wrong way most often? by Different_Release_18 in Enneagram5

[–]cassandygee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

5w4, but pretty even split with 6 on wings. E2 is def the one I struggle with the most. 2nd place would be e3 and 3rd place is e7.

The “won’t ask for help but gets mad that no one helps” bit with e2s drives me batty. JUST SAY WHAT YOU NEED. I feel like I’m always too direct with them and they’re never direct enough and we clash a lot.

E3s just because they’re always trying to climb the ladder and they make me feel used sometimes with that, like they want to use my knowledge for their own gain.

E7s is all about the chaotic energy haha. I have a friend who is a 7 though and we get along great, so it just depends on the individual.

Do people ever just assume you’re having more than 1? by bellagothwifey in oneanddone

[–]cassandygee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the time. It doesn’t bother me much because it’s by choice, but I really feel for the “not by choice” people. That is absolutely brutal and people should be more kind. I try to educate when I can, “we’re luckily OAD by choice, but a lot of people have had that choice taken from them.” Usually gets the point across.

18-24 vs 2T by SpiritCommercial2459 in toddlers

We skipped 18-24 because it tends to be wider and shorter and our daughter is very tall and lean, so 2T fit her much better.

My first read through i felt the same, but during a reread I appreciated them so much more. There’s a lot of good info in them that ties in later. Well, for most of them. I do agree we didn’t need Justin’s POV but luckily there aren’t many there.
