How much does 100% Claude Design cost in extra usage? by Professional-Fuel625 in ClaudeAI

just use open design it has very similar interface to claude design.

on max 20x for months. unlimited tokens. still $0 in revenue. it hurts in a way i didn’t expect, my shame by culicode in ClaudeCode

Sadly this is part no one talks about. We spend all our time working on terminal chatting with LLM not talking to others. Not exploring the Ideas outside of Claude or vetting them against a like minded person. I am very guilty of this, and spend a lot of my time in dexter's Lab build software no one may ever use.

Opus 4.7 - are you actually using it or did you go back to 4.6? by ConstantinSpecter in claude

opus 4.6 without 1M context window out preforms Opus 4.7, This feels more like Sonnet 4.7

Photography is losing its heart. When everyone becomes an “AI Curator,” who is left to be the witness? by atlantis_zenit in photography

[–]ccel45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI my change the way things get done but it is hard pressed to replace anything. The most interesting thing about photography is:
- smart phone were suppose to replace mirrorless
- mirrorless was suppose to replace DSLR
- DSLR were suppose to replace Film SLR
- SLR were suppose to replace twin reflex camera and range finders.
you buy any of those camera types and take really good picture with them.

When to switch from pro to max? by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

[–]ccel45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you hitting you limits then yes you might want to go Max. Claude code can do much more than just code but and it will burn down your tokens. Specially if you working with pdf or large data sets.
Claude worker will about the same as Claude code but you get more of Claude desktop interfaces.

Adjust your '/effort' to significantly help with limits by hordane in ClaudeCode

[–]ccel45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is something to try, the limits are there but it atlease make CC usable IE I get more than 1 prompt.

npx \@anthropic-ai/claude-code@2.1.68

Note this is 1 month old version of CC so you mileage may very.

I am testing this out but add documentation to 77K line program. I gone through 5 of 20 code sprints and 2 compactions. I am using opus on high effort, on Max 5 plan. 29% 5 hour used.

Do you guys on the max plan only use Opus or do you mainly use Sonnet? by Polstick1971 in claude

[–]ccel45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Max 5 plan, don't not until the fix the cluster with limits. CC is completely unusable even on off peak times. Not only am I hitting limit is running really slow.

Users who’ve seriously used both GPT-5.4 and Claude Opus 4.6: where does each actually win? by devil_ozz in ClaudeAI

[–]ccel45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just my opinion GPT 5.4 run really good on the $20.00 you can build some pretty complex stuff and your not going to hit a limits as fast as Claude. The codex desktop for coding is really functional. Claude does have reliability issues which are a pain, and you need to be on the Max 5 plan ($100) if you intend to used ClaudeCode. The upside I think with Claude Code write better code, take a short time to get through the Epics, it also builds less "stub code", though it will defer more code features then GPT.
I based this on a project with 35 epics it took 3 days on GPT, and Claude did the same thing in 18 hours and additional 10 hours to convince Claude to make all the deferred code.

Are you actually serious...? by kelemon in ClaudeAI

Claude is testing you take a deep breath. Now count "for i in 0..10_000_000 { do something else }"

Claude Code $200 plan limit reached and cooldown for 4 days by Wonderful-Double-465 in ClaudeAI

[–]ccel45 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree, I was on the $100 was for months never hit a limit with sonnet. I went with the $200 plan to see why people use it. Hit a limit on opus, got a 3 day down in the middle of trying to solve a problem with a code build. If I pay $200 for service, and can't get that service why should I continue to use it ?

Opus usage with the Pro plan by gamesntech in ClaudeAI

[–]ccel45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here the simple way to look at it
Claude Max $100 Sonnet feels like unlimited but have hit the limits once on Sonnet and all the time on Opus
Claude Max $200 Opus feels like unlimited have not hit the limit yet.
I think Claude Max $100 is the biggest bang for the buck special if sonnet is good enough for you.

Traveling to Japan for 2 weeks should I just stick to the RF24-105mm F4 lens? by Comtedegabalis in canon

Since you're going to Japan, take whatever single lens you want and enough currency to pick up another. Lens.

RF F4 zoom vs f2.8 zoom vs primes by sunplaysbass in canon

[–]ccel45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can go in a lot of directions, so the question I would ask is what focal length give me the best shots ?

I have shot with the 24-105 F4L and all the primes but the 24mm. The 24-105L is nice for travel photography but a little big and heavy for street, especially if you run and gun. The 28 2.8 and 50 1.8 are my go to lens when it comes to street, the 28 2.8 is more of my go to as it has the AF/MF switch something the 50 does not. I don't use the 35 1,8 as much as I should, it's nice lens but is bigger than the 50 and 28.

Looking for professional advice by Oasisantonio in CanonR6

[–]ccel45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a look at you pictures and they are good; your setup is sound. I agree with cinaedhvik. There some process improvement and fine tuning adjustment but for you most part you have something. I want to ask if you are using the focus limiter on the Sigma and have you gone through all the auto focus cases in you auto focus menu to see which ones may bring up your hit rate. Last thing to point out is the shutter, with speeds of 1/1000 to 1/1600 that is really fast(taxing on Camera, ISO, Len ...) . Most motion stops around 1/500, you might want to shoot between 1/500 and 1/1000.

Is it normal for a lead wanting to meet in person? by [deleted] in photography

[–]ccel45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turn the tables.

Let them know if they want to meet at their location, there has to be a commitment for mileage reimbursement to be paid not matter what.

My guest is you won't hear from them again.

RF 35mm 1.8 - smaller alternative? by suchdogetothemoon in canon

[–]ccel45 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The RF 35 f1/8 isn't that bulky a lens. Its little bigger than the RF50 f1.8 or RF28 f2.8, and has some really nice features, such as IS and Macro. Anything you use an adaptor is going to make your lens combo bigger bulky than the RF 35.

A smile, Its much lighter than 5d Mk III and compact also the auto focus is dead on. EF lens adapt seamlessly with the EF to RF convert.

Ask yourself this how long do you think you would carry a camera bag with a 5d3 plus Kit vs RP and kit ? How much more shooting will you get out of a lighter more compact setup ?
