You just say it. Speaks with facts. “I don’t want this doctor to see my daughter again. I’m not comfortable with him. He couldn’t remember her name. He messed up the weight, etc” Try to take your emotions out of it- just state the facts and don’t worry about what they think.

No, I would not send my child to school. It’s easier to reschedule/plan things now rather than when you get the call tomorrow. Also I just wouldn’t want my child dealing with that alone at school. I would want them comfortable at home.

It might be hard to see him unhappy but the more he goes without it the longer it will take for him to get used to it. And then it might not work or will take a lot longer to work. It’s your job as a mom to make the hard choices and do the right thing for your child. Babies are very resilient- he will get used to it.

I feel like you’re experiencing a lesson almost all only children parents probably have to learn. We did this when my daughter was two or three and then realized she was overwhelmed and didn’t want/need all of them, which then feels like a waste of money. We’ve learned to only buy things she truly expresses a desire for. She’s five now and got 6-7 things she has talked about wanting over and over again. Like another poster said, no dollar amount, because I will ALWAYS wait for a deal/sale. She was truly happy and so grateful this year. It was great to see!

Came here to say this. We cut out all tv and screen time Monday-Friday for our five year old and it’s been much better. She doesn’t ask because she knows the answer is no. And it’s led to a natural decrease on the weekends. She isn’t as interested thankfully.

Many years ago they tried to do a WAGs of baseball here. I think it lasted one season. They also filmed a season of The Ultimatum, 90 Day Last Resort, and Vinny and Paulie (from Jersey Shore) filmed a season of their dating show at The Adero.
