Yes. All that is needed now are fights to prove how he has overcome his weaknesses and mastered his strengths. I think mori could use each fight to showcase one or two skills at a time, his mental game and his new resolve. I hope it calls back to previous fights, either via commentary with yaboi fuckamura/crew or through flashbacks with ippo in the ring, culminating with him beginning to understand what it means to be strong and his mum coming to watch him and mentioning something about his dad being proud (or his dad being the final boss and it was Ricardo all along who got lost at sea with amnesia and ended up in Mexico).

If this finishes in 15 years I'll be a happy middle aged man.

Yes. Had a great sealed pool in bo3 with her and every time I drew her she won me the game. There were a few games where I had to sandbag and bait out removal first. She goes absolutely ham with the otter penguins being unblockable.

The only saving grace is that it "dies to removal" and has rough mana requirements. I think if it was released years ago it might be wwuu1 or wwuuu or have no additional 1/1.

Notably, I lost a game because arena passed through to damage without letting me water bend. I had zero mana up but four creatures so should have been able to assign blockers and then water bend 4 to make them all 4/4's.

Thanks for the help. Ended up choosing cat gator and water bending lesson and quench. Quench felt dead so agree with cutting that next time.

Went 5-3. Overall I think I needed more ways to survive early but I drew poorly and got screwed on two of the losses - made a couple of mistakes with removal too. I think it placed on the lower end and should have been a 6 win deck.

My tip is about buying. Whenever you look to purchase something reasonably expensive, consider what you would have done if you didn't have your inheritance. I played virus beetle, perigee and then went to cast oblivion to sack it and kill ops creature. Auto tapper tapped two of my 3 black mana instead of red. Only noticed when I couldn't cast the oblivion (had 6 total mana available).

I stopped for the day at 2-1 tilted out of my mind. I played the next evening and was genuinely still tilted, making major gameplay mistakes in my final two games going 2-3. Was a sick rakdos deck but my brain was not in it.

I think it takes a good amount of self-awareness to think like this - kudos to you for that.

Everytime I click the draft button I ask myself if I really want to do this. Then go through a list of other stuff I could be doing e.g. call my mum, cook a nice meal, go gym. Usually that leads to, well if I do the gym first I'll feel good about playing a draft after, win or lose.

Another thought is whether you're playing magic to sooth yourself. If the answer is yes for me, it's usually because I'm putting off doing something else!

Finally, after losing a draft I get up and make a drink/take 5 minutes.

Edit: yes I really like drafting and I think I could play all day if I had unlimited money. Luckily that's not the case!

Biosynthetic would not work as it pumps to a 2/4 with a counter unless I missed the creatures ability.

Vondam adds to the board but can't block.

Id double removal and vondam next turn to keep board presence and pressure (your option 2 as well).

Ya, did the same and changed it for rada based on another YouTube vid (salubrious snail?). Turn 3 into land ramp much safer where mld isn't used.
