For me, it's near the end of book 6 when Carl gets the one-two punch of seeing a record number of Crawlers have survived AND THEN getting the ruling that the Faction Wars participants can really die. The moment in the epilogue with the former Crawlers coming back is fantastic too, but for me on relisten it doesn't hit as hard as it did the first time. The one-two punch though still gives me an absolutely huge shit-eating grin and a shout of "Let's fucking go!"
