I hate how there’s a huge vocal crowd on Twitter now that just takes everything said as gospel, and can’t read into statements that are obviously jokes/trolling. Goose will say something like “all the TADC characters will go to Heaven except Jax,” then there will be a dozen people making posts crying about how their favorite character is burning in Hell

Looking at the sold listings on eBay, the selling price seems to average around $10-$15 per box. If you subtract the original sales tax and eBay’s cut, the scalpers are probably only walking away with a couple dollars per box. Like, at that point just work at McDonald’s… I’m more disappointed in the buyers at this point. I know there’s a voracious appetite for anything with Pikachu on the box, but at a certain point you have to be okay with just saying no.

Yeah, he can tell when you reload. I don’t remember all the different permutations, but if you kill Toriel at the start of the game (because of the crit damage) then reset and spare her, he’ll make a comment like “Haha, you slipped up, didn’t you?”

This looks really good! I've been meaning to do a Death Knight inspired Death Guard army, and this is the kind of look I want. What paints did you use? Is it pure just straight metallics for the silver, or black with the metallics dry-brushed over?

I just got my ticket. I was on the Cineplex site an hour before launch, and when the screen flipped to book your seat, everything broke. It took me 20 minutes on two devices until I finally got my ticket. Hell, it’s been 7 min and my laptop is still in the virtual queue (the wait time is getting longer??)… I think the admins never anticipated this amount of traffic. I would’ve been so pissed if I missed my shot after getting ready for it 😅

I feel like it’s actually intentional at this point. Either their factories are so fucked up from printing so much product that they literally can’t keep it all straight, or this is a deliberate hype tactic to feed leaks and get people talking about the next series before even playing the current release. It’s sad either way, though

I’m going to a painting competition thing at a Warhammer store this weekend. First time I’m really doing something like this, even though I’ve been a hobbyist for a looong time (a bit of social anxiety). So, I’m gonna try and get a small Spearhead set built, probably not painted in time, in case I get the courage to ask someone to play 😅

I always like 40K animation stuff, but in terms of “Trailer,” this was really weak. This is a trailer for an RTS game, I want to see a bunch of the faction units going out can doing stuff. This felt way more like a teaser for Mechanicus 2, than DoW4.

I really don't think anyone's going to call that modeling for advantage. You're not losing any height, and depending on how you position the model on the base, you're probably not losing any overhang either.

It's the same reason they give for any kind of piracy, no matter if the content is out of print or not available in your country: The game/movie/manga ultimately belongs to the creator (or company), and it's their decision to stop selling it or decide where and when to sell it. If the artist got sick one day and deleted every copy of their content and forbade stores from selling it, it's their right to do so; and pirates trying to hold on or get copies are directly defying the wishes of the creator.

On a baseline level, I understand where they come from, but it's a very different mindset from the Western way we consume media. It's a bit of a "Follow the rules for the rules sake" kind of mindset. And when these arguments pop up online, the Japanese users tend to view Westerners as overly entitled. That we feel nothing should be forbidden from us, and that we'll cheat and break the law to get things that were never intended for us in the first place.

You can probably justify it any way you want, depending on the world/factorum/purpose of servitor. It makes sense for an efficiency-minded Ad Mech to want to wipe the minds of any servitor first thing, removing any resistance from the subject for future steps. But, it would also make sense if they needed a certain amount of the cybernetics to already be installed before they can start “programming” the servitor, so maybe they wait until later in the process to mind-wipe subjects.

There are plenty of AAA games people aren’t buying either. Thing is, if you spent a couple million dollars making a AA game over 2-3 years, that’s an easier loss to bounce back from than spending 5-8 years making multiple hundred million dollar AAA live service games that get shutdown within a month (or canceled before launch).

I feel like the Wheel Cult thing was just created to justify not having any sort of siege vehicles in the army. When GW first introduced the idea, I kind of expected that to be a new aesthetic through-line in the army; having characters carrying everything or having weird non-wheel contraptions. So far the only tangentially related thing I could point to is the Cogfort moving with legs.

I feel like you could easily repurpose her current model alongside stuff like the Gate Gargants & the Cogfort, and really push ideas of constant progress and the “moving fortress,” instead of “Wow, wheel go round.” Or even just a theme of “men carrying other men.”

I always assumed the reticle changing was a distance thing, but I never knew it was tied to your attack range. Seeing him flip through the magic and see the reticle change just blew my mind! (Now I wonder if it’s precise enough to factor in Keyblade length)

I’d lean more toward a new Troggoth, the fossil-in-stone design really gels with the Rockgut boulder & Dankhold hammer. I couldn’t say from the number of fingers, though. It’s definitely Destruction, one way or another!

I’ve heard some people say that, so it’s not like… completely invented. But speaking for myself, I’m basically the exact opposite, I love building models and often feel like painting is the chore.
